Finally, three days ago, I just got very rare skillsets (such as Divine Potency, Black Arts, etc.).  I got it (along with historical and event portrait) when i got the last 3 "Event Still".

I don't know exactly how to open it, but i just want to share my chronicle :
- Two months ago i just got ENGLISH PC Version
- Go through Tutorial section (unlock special officers)
- Play two game as Liu Bei (190 and ROH) until finished, got nothing.
- Beat the game below ten years (unlock some special skills, Max. 100 LDR, WAR, INT, POL, CHR), just search shenzou forum and this koei forum on how to beat the game below ten years.
- start to hunt for events like Three Visits, Qiao sisters marriage, Dian Wei and Xu Zhu join cao cao events, Yuan Shu Declare himself emperor, Liu Bei / Mi Shi Marriage, Zhuge Liang Marriage, Bronze Pheasant,  etc. except until now still don't know how to trigger Lu Bu kill Dong Zhuo, Cao cao marches, Liu Bei King of Hanzhong, Emperor Sun Quan, Guan Xing / Zhang Bao oath, Lu Meng and Jiang Qin Study, etc.
- Start to play as created female officer, but didn't get extra special officers at the end of the game. Perhaps not exist in PC version.
- Start to play as custom created officer (194). in the middle of the game, i already got most of the Event Still (around 27), still 3 left.
- Start to hunt for the last 3 Event Still. and thanks to this forum, i managed to open the last 3 Event Stills and back to the title screen, i got the message i had open the very rare skills, along with historical portraits.

You select the skills (it'll be in a list along with every other skill) when you create a character

Nothing should be unlocked yet.  However, under Settings->Reference->View Event Stills you should see 29/30 events having been completed.  The only one missing is the 3 Sworn Brothers.  You need to trigger 3 Sworn Brothers to unlock it.  You still need to win the game to unlock the superior abilities.

I just tried my file again to confirm everything's okay.  Are you sure that you've placed the file in the correct directory?

I know how to trigger 3 sworn brothers event. Just control Liu Yan in Yellow Turban Scenario, right? i did it, but the event has not completed yet. Or must I finished the scenario? Because after the even was triggered, I just saved it. And i didn't play 'till it finished.

No, no, no...

You need to make a 3 brothers brotherhood. Not an actual event. Combine three generals that you don't want to betray you into a brotherhood. Then... you get the event still/

Oh I see, thanks for your explanation. I still have my saved game playing as Liu Bei in Dong Zhuo Rises Scenario. And i have Cao-cao as my subordinate officer. Do you think I can make him as sworn brothers of Liu Bei? Could you suggest me another person?

Liu Bei is already sworn brothers with Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, he can't again, unless Yu and Fei both die. You should pair Cao Cao up with two other of your leading officers, who could betray you.

• All of the pre and post Three Kingdoms bonus officers are still in the game. Those are unlocked by completing the Tutorials.
• The eight bonus officers unlocked by completing challenges on the PS2 versions, have been removed as have the challenges.
• The more powerful skills are still unlocked by finishing a scenario in less than ten years (This does not include Puissance, Black Arts etc).
• The historical officer portraits and models are now unlocked by finishing the game in ten years.

If anyone finds out other unlockables post here. I wonder what we'll get for finishing Rise of Heroes on this one.

Yesterday, I played YT scenario, 184 AD,  twice. First used male sovereign to unify China, second used created female officer (as sovereign also, after Ding Yun was killed, I meant to trigger unite female event) to do it. I handled all of 8 countries (those 2 games), like someone said to beat the game under 10 years easily. But I got NOTHING from those 2 games. Would you help me what happen ?

Edit: oya, yesterday was my first beating the game under 10 years.

The only thing you get from completing in Female scenario is unlocking the female ruler conquer china event.

which is a criteria for the unlocking all events that you'd need to unlock the best skills like puissance, flying general, focus divine potency etc etc

Luckily i have a friend who completed all event stills.

I'm currently playing the Japanese-to-english version cos i wanted to play PUK.

it's really really fun.

you get alot more buildings, research officers abilities and skills, and 49 event stills instead.

I'd would like to list out a much as possible event stills here.
just copy and paste in a quote if you want to add on to this list.

Easiest way to complete the
female/male sworn officers event still
is to just use your created officers to swear in.

as simple as that.

i was tiking i was goin 2 make them sworn siblings anyway for the battle perks when they assist each other.

mind as well swear them in, in the game itself

thanks and where Liu Bei flees, how do you gain Jing by attacking Liu Biao while cao cao threaten your rear? I read somewhere that Liu Biao gives you the province. How does that work.

I've never heard that before.  In the book Liu Biao sends Liu Bei to defend Jing against Cao Cao.  A good strategy would be to build up troops and then attack Xiang Yang, and keep Xin Ye as long as you can, but if you realize you are going to lose it, then abandon it.  Set up a massive defensive front at Xiang Yang.
