A land of Yuan Banners, well at least for 3 years.

My story, Fallen Kingdoms read it, you'll like it Wink

History is... amazing, but it is also tragic. It is a story of never ending heroism, deceitfulness, wonder, pain, and tragedy. It is an unfinished epic, an unsolved mystery. There is so much we do not know, and there is so much we have yet to learn.

What dp you mean if he lived longer? are you talking about after he won Guan Du? If so, he'd probably destroy Cao Cao and then have no problem wiping out the rest of the forces.

Well, even if he wipe out Cao Cao's army, his kingdom will not last long.

Hmm...really? You think he wouldn't be able to overthrow Ma Teng, Zhang Lu, and WU and SHU?

Not with how quickly he was mentally disintegrating and the squbbling of his sons. You also forget Liu Biao and it was Liu Zhang rather then Shu

Not only what Ma Su said, but also, you have to remember that Cao Cao did historically win, so some would say that he was a better commander.  Without getting into a discussion directly comparing the two, remember that Cao Cao, who did win, couldn't beat everyone else... so what advantage does Yuan Shao have that would allow him to do what Cao Cao couldn't?

He'd have a chance of conquering Chang An, but any momentum or victory he'd gain would be temporary, as reinforcements from the capital would come in and push him right out again, or he'd run short on food and have to retreat.

What are you referring to?  Are you referring to him being assassinated by Cao Cao during Chang Ban, or by Sun Quan during the battle of Yi Ling?

If Cao Cao did it, there would be no shu and Cao Cao would most likely have easily taken Cheng Du, and thus most likely would have conquered Wu within his lifetime.

If Sun Quan did it, there would have been no reconciliation between Shu and Wu, and Wei would have picked at the bones of their rivalry pulling the strings of their conflict.

I mean when he escaped across the river on his hex marked horse.

A better 'what if' would probably be 'What if Liu Bei had refused to accept the horse after learning the mark would bring bad luck?'
