Squall summed it up really - basic and functional are the two words that come to mind. Wouldn't exactly entice anyone looking at it to buy the game.
The main noticable absense is a description of the major selling points of the game. Take for example a DW minisite - it would mention each of the modes and what i as a player would be able to do in them.
As someone who hasn't played a horse riding game before i sit here and ask;
What courses are there in the game?
How many do you race against?
Is there gray, black brown, chestnuts horses? any special horses that you can find/breed?
How does the actual racing play out? is it press cross button every 3 minutes and yawn inbetween or do you need to pay attention and use the controller always as with DW, the player would need to know how engaging and invovling the game is to entice them to play.
How does the training of horses work? it just mentions a variety of ways - so what ways are there?
Is the co-op mode a full season or just a one off race?
The features could also do with an index - tabs on the left for ease rather then just the "next" to go through the features. Titles such as;
"Gameplay Features"
"Revolutionary Analogue Control System"
"Dynamic New Ranking System"
"Brand new Horse Breeding Features"
"Indepth Player Controlled Tutorial Mode"
"Ebb and Flow of Realisitc Racing"
"Breathtaking Two Player races in Split Screen Action!"
Something like that lined up on the left area where they could be click. Few more pics would help too - more then just random ones though, pics focusing on the actual section they are refering to/next to.
On the plus side the Controller and News areas are nicely done and added incentives - having a link where the person can buy the game always a good idea as just when they've finished watching it is the time they are most likely to buy it off the internet.
I can go indepth with a lot more detail if you want me to?
