Nene should go. replace the farcical kunoichi with the wife Hideyoshi wants in SW2, Lady Yodo.

I can't help but think that Yodo'll end up with a Noh-like attitude... they could end up as rivals for a good storyline.

perhaps if they go fictional as with DW6, Noh'll get her SW1 assassin persona back, but, Lady Yodo was even darker than Noh, she was downright depressive, but pretty smart historically.

or allies, Lady Noh would've been a family member to Lady Yodo and, as such, they would've spent time together when ChaCha was a child and perhaps as an teenager before Noh "died" at Honnoji. so little is actually known about Kicho that anything is possible, making it a open book as to anyone's relationships to/with her. i can name quite a few stories/rumors that place her against and for Nobunaga. so, fictionally she a great and somewhat under-utilized character. if KOEI can give Gracia her quest, and Nene a life she did not have, and get away with it. what is the issue with using an interesting enigmatic woman and all the historical rumor that surround her.

Agreed. Noh has almost endless possibities for story, but Koei doesn't really use it...

Like you said, Noh can have many relationships with other characters too. So they could probably even have her to seduce Mitsuhide, or something to that effect.

according to one story Mitsuhede was Noh/Kicho's childhood bodyguard(referenced several times in SW2 and SW2:E). while i've never heard/seen any historical data to confirm this, it's true that Mitsuhede DID work for Dosan Saito at a time period that might support this, and there are numerous stories that say that Noh had maintained her friendship/bond with Mitsuhede, who felt some sort of loyalty to her, and A. was assisted by Noh in the planning and execution of the Honnoji Incident, or B. warned her ahead of time of the coming attack and assisted she and her retainers and household to escape Honnoji previous to the burning. it's also been rumored that a "Lady Akechi" or a "Lady Saito" returned to Akechi Castle under the protection of Mitsuhede after Honnoji , and disappeared into historical mythology. conversely there are also the rumors that Lady Noh died wielding a naginata alongside the Mori brothers, protecting her lord to her death.

would'nt it be interesting and cool if KOEI decide to add the Lady Chiyome, to have Noh meeting with her to learn the arts of the kunoichi in order to fulfill Dosan Saito's command to "kill the fool". so many possibilities.

And she can be a serious type female, and she would have a rivalry against Hanzo, and Kotaro. Or a story to prove that women can be just as good has any male shinobi. Good stories with her.

Well, there are endless possibilities for Noh, and no matter how far fetched it sounds, Koei may consider it... These are the same people that put Sanada Yukimura in Kawanikajima (historically before he was born) and in Nagashino (Which he would have been about 6 years old...) Also the same company that made Nene into a ninja. You just never know what to expect from Koei...

Well, I'm a Nene fan.  However, I'd be okay with her deletion if Lady Chiyome were added.  And if Nene doesn't hold enough historical water to justify her existence in the next SW title, then Kunoichi definately doesn't either.
