THE EASIEST METHOD TO GET KOTARO FUMA

Objective.. 3 supply troops to castle
Left and Right supply troops use center route to head up the castle.. the upper supply troop uses upper route.  After 3rd and final supply base is captured, Kotaro shows up at center route... here's how you avoid him completely. 


1. go directly down the middle and clear out the middle path
2. go left clear out gate captain then supply base
3. go right clear out gate captain then supply base
4. watch both of them run freely up the castle
5. clear out upper path then supply base... he'll have an easy clear route to the castle untouched since Kotaro will pop up at the center.  Watch him head into the castle then go for the kill....

Sorry for long time for response. Have you tried watching the videos? Also was Cao Pi in your party at the time when you were trying to unlock Zhen Ji?

They should all have a final gaiden. The ones that aren't unlocked yet should have a gray box with a question mark in it. To unlock them, you must meet these requirements (all in stage 7):
Shu: Once you enter the main keep, defeat all of the officers up to the top floor. Da Ji will then set the keep on fire so just run out of there in under 2 minutes. Best way to do that is to run directly there (leaving behind your allied officers so they don't slow you down. if they enter the keep with you, they'll have to leave with you too, within the time limit) through the northern gate.
Wu: You must form an alliance/reunite the Sun family within 3 minutes. This means you'll have to do your best in order to make it to where Sun Jian and Sun Quan are in the southwestern corner. I suggest you have a team with very strong attacks and a very fast horse. Just kill the enemy officers to open the gates and ignore the privates. There's a lot of dialogue so just be patient. Someone suggested in another thread to pause when they're talking and continue when they're done so it won't waste too much time.
Wei: Once you've defeated Zhuge Liang and taken over the mountain, Da Ji will defect from your army. You must defeat her within 1 minute of her betrayal. I suggest you go directly towards her after you've taken over the mountain and wait for her to turn on you. Then just kill her. Have a person with strong attacks just in case.

I think Having Cao Pi in your team is the problem. Try leaving him out. I used Zhang Liao, Xu Huang, and Xiahou Dun.
1) Kill the sorcerer in the base right by your starting point.
2) Kill the one in the base with Mitsuujie Ujiie (the one to your right)
3) Kill the one in the base with Shigemoto and Fusamoto Makabe (the one in the middle of the map)
4) Kill the one in the base with Yoshishige and Yoshinobu Satake (the one on the midleft)
5) Kill the one in the base with Tao Qian and Fan Chou (the one on top)
6) Kill the one in the base with Li Meng, Yoshiaki Mogami, and Hidetsuna Sakenobe.
7) Kill those 3 officers
Take over the guard base behind the base
9) Escort Zhen Ji to where ever she goes and kill and privates in her way so that she can move
10) A fake Cao Pi will appear to make her go boohoo so kill him
11) Defeat the enemy commander to finish

There may be a 10 minute time limit, so work quick. I just ignored the other enemy officers to get the story moving (but do help the real Cao Pi if he's in danger since he's your commander)

Cao Ren
1) Aid Kenshin and Shingen and wait for them to say something about calling a cavalry unit.
2) The 1st cavalry unit should arrive at the northeast base so escort them to their designation (northwest base, it should glow when mentioned)
3) Do the same for the 2nd cavalry unit
4) Once the 3rd unit arrives, Cao Ren will start advancing towards the northwest base so defeat him and he'll offer his allegiance

any one have any good tips on how to unlock kaiji. i just dont understand how im suppost to protect lu meng and the others, and run back hit the drum go help that person the comes, fight some people off, run back, check up on lu meng then zhou tai needs help all the way up at the top but at the same time lu meng has no life and i need to go hit the drum agin. how can i do all that on 1p 

You also have to do it in under 20 minutes, lol. This one's definitely a pain, but doable. I almost gave up hope, but I eventually got him.
First thing's first, you must have speed and strong attacks so pick characters with those points. If you don't already have a high level horse, steal Lu Meng's when he falls off.
The first thing I did was fight off the officers up north where I started. When Lu Meng signaled, I hit the drums and went down to where he was, aided him, stole his horse, and tried to kill off the enemy officers and guard bases. I timed myself on my computer clock so I rode back whenever 2 minutes was up (since Lu Meng signals the drums every 2 minutes). I just kept doing that until Hanzo appeared (kill off officers, aided those who needed help...). Make sure everyone's alive and has made it to Keiji's fort/base/box/whatever and defeat him.
I don't think there's a special trick to this one, just obey the requirements and have a strong team and horse.

btw, in the Wei and Shu story mode he said " that there could be someone who could surpass my skills/might" something like that ( so i gues thats whats he's suposed to say, when he is killed)

Thank you for your help...but i guess thats what i've been doing wrong all the time becouse i dont really get what a chapter is and all that 8X etc..
Its supposed to be in story mode? right? and then you have like two lines with "chapters". The "chapters" abowe is like the Main story (?) and the other ones under them are like "fillers" or something but still in the story. Which one is the 8X?? and how am i supposed to kill him? (a)

I only need Lu Bu to get everyone else, but I am having an excessively hard time getting 1k kills in Samurai 7. I am using Nobunaga, Hideyoshi and Guan Ping, all at 99. I have everyone's abilities, and the 3rd weapons with abilities mostly @ 10. I am still getting slaughtered on Hard thanks to Keiji running at me, Normal isn't giving enough enemies.
