Wow!  It's been a year!  I've upgraded quite a few parts of my Taishi Ci costume!

New helmet that doesn't suck!

8bitgamer, your helmet looks amazing!

Armor is probably the most fun part, for me. I'm terrible at sewing but paper mache and air dry clay, I am all over that.

I cosplayed Nene from SW3. I haven't seen other people do her and afterward, looking at photos, kinda figured why. It's not quite worksafe IRL. No photos unless people don't mind the semi-indecent.

For the same shoot, my friends did Hanbei and Mori and looked amazing.

Three or four months, including a lotttt of stuff done on the actual morning of the con. And on the trip there;;

Though I did my ghetto cosplay in about two weeks. This is the most decent shot where you can see most of the costume.

Next year, the three of us are going to do the Mystics, hopefully! And when our giiiiant group does SW3, we'll be doing Oda Clan! As you can see, we cosplay to a theme: the twink, the manly one and the chick.

Sometime soon I'll be going on a maroon pleather hunt for the armor, haha.

I also need to make some fake weapons that don't qualify as real ones, I'm amazed they let me into the last con with them!  They wouldn't even let in a 6 year old girl with a plastic baseball bat, but I walked in with two, five pound, four foot long, very solid Wolf Slayers, haha!

I am excited to look through here at everyone's costumes when I have more time! (Ok, actually I do have time, but Samurai Warriors 2 is begging to be played. You guys understand, right?)
My friends and I are working on Dynasty Warriors 7 cosplays for PAX in Seattle this year. It should be good times, though it is a ways off still.
