you need to take all of southern Jing and lose the parts you don't need. Xiang Yang and Xin Ye. Sun Quan needs to stay contained, and you need to ally with him. you wait around for it to happen. I only got it once. laugh

Xun Yu recommends Guo Jia

i dunno exactly what i did, it was YT and my CC ruler took pu yang and i moved a bunch of officers there including xun yu and the turn he got there it said " xun yu requests to see you" and xun yu starts talking about a sage with 10 times greater talent than him,  and his name is guo jia, then guo jia shows up and auotmatically joins you

Works in the 190 scenario, too.  Both are available in Xu Chang, and if you recruit Xun Yu first, he'll suggest Guo Jia the next turn both of you are free.  Disappointed that Jia doesn't recommend Lu Qian and Man Chong, in turn, like he did in seven.

Okay I got this, I don't know if this is an event or not:
I'm playing the rebellion scenario as He Jin's forces. After a while the only lords standing are me, Sun Jian, and another force that controls 1 city South of Sun Jian's. Then some random guy named Hao Meng forced me to be the Emperor. The weird thing is that I'm supposed to protect the Emperor and it did not give me an option to ignore it.

Yea, it's usually one of your high ranking officers, and I doubt Hao Meng could have been one of those.

I looked back at the History screen and it was definitely a guy
named Hao Meng. The empire he made me to be is Xin.

Does anybody know if there is an event when sun jian dies. I was thinking, I would attack liu biao when sun jian's unit loses he dies?.

Ah the the first post was very helpful indeed. Here are the ones I have gotten:

Xiahou Dun brings more personal. Dian Wei is brought into you're force by Xiahou Dun. All you need is to play with Cao Cao in Chen Liu and have Xiahou Dun in you're force, also make sure Dian Wei is a free officer in Chen Liu or is there but hidden.

The talented sage. Guo Jia joins Cao Cao's army. Have Xun Yu in you're force should be about all. The earliest this will occur is 189, again I was in Chen Liu so I am not sure if you have to be in any other city, though I doubt it.

Dian Wei's match. Dian Wei will bring Xu Zhu in you're force (With Cao Cao) the same in the earliest 189. Make sure you are in Xu Chang, and Xu Zhu is free there or hidden in the city.

Dong Zhuo forces Emperor Bian to step down from the throne. Play the year 184 (I assume since this is the only year I play with Dong Zhuo) and take Luo Yang. Keep Luo Yang until Emperor Ling dies and Bian is made emperor have Li Ru and yourself (Dong Zhuo) in the city Luo Yang, after a while of the new emperor Li Ru will ask you about making the King of Chen Liu, (Emperor Xian) the new emperor. You can make you're decision from there. I had Li Ru as my stratagist so just in case.


I have a lot more but, seeing as most of them were written already there would be no need. Hope they were accurate.

Do you mean when He Jin appoints others to their new homes? (Example Sun Jian in Chang Sha?) If so, no there isn't.
