Farewell to Manzanar. If anyone else has read it, I'm sure they'll agree with me. Oh, that and Ben Hur.

Just needed to revive this topic cause I kinda finished the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel.....and my god it was the most boring book I have ever read....one minute they are at camp and in just one sentence they are traveled all across China and are waging war....it was more like an encyclopedia/history book than a novel.....

I'll stick to the games and general history, but Im not reading these books again....sheesh...

It wasn't too boring for me. I didn't like the speeding up of deaths and stuff. I mean Zhang Jiao was dead in 1 paragraph!

The most boring book eh?

Well unlike some of the other people here, I liked The Giver, and Jane Eyre, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Ben Hur.

I never could really get into the Harry Potter books (I like fantasy, but more of a Lord of The Rings, or Conan fantasy.) For the most part, I enjoy all kinds of books, however one book that I really struggled to get through would be Wuthering Heights

I'm not normally a big fan of those romance kinds of books, or ones that have very drab settings. (Meaning I would read them if I didn't have a choice, but they would certainly not be my first choice.)

However I do like Jane Austen's work...

Ooh! I love those books, far from boring.
Well I had to read Across 5 Aprils for a school assignment, it was so
dull I didn't really read it, turns out.  laugh

I now officially hate you. Cheesy Naah, j/k. But I loved that book.

So, I get up every day to witness exactly the same boring events that happened the day before.... why do I do it? I work hard, but then I realise there's no point. And then I think, to hell with that, I'll get a job at McDonalds.

Lol, sorry but that book just bored the heck out of me. It goes off topic so many times while providing what I would call an unexpectedly boring ending. Sometimes you just wanted to slap that 15 year old kid.

I know, but I found that was part of the book's charm. It was a very unique book, unlike anything I had read before.

Margaret Atwood's 'Negotiating With The Dead'.

i kept wondering to myself whether i should give up on it or see it through, in case toward the end there was a moment of brilliance, and the long painful slog of reading it would be justified.

it never happened.

Anything Shakespeare makes me fall asleep. Sure, he has some good quotes, but I don't understand old English very well. I mean, did people actually talk like that back then?
