I never play games using non-english languages. I want to know what the heck is being said lol.
I think it would be cool to have japanese/chinese voice options and then also a subtext option. Then it would actually be educational.

i would mind seeing the total war franchise and dynasty warriors come to gether on a project.
i mean they already have awsome war thing but if you add in the dynasty warriors hack and slash to the
large scale battle
you see every thing like you would normaly when playing total wars maps and battle areas.
but when army units collide in the middle of battle areas. you get the yes or no option to take control of the officer incharge of the unit and the battle map zooms in and you take control of the main officer of the unit like kingdom under fire
buts the only thing i can think up for the koei to bring out historical medevial hack and slash game
medeival total war
kingdom under fire
koei hack and slash style
all in one.
just somthing to get the ball rolling.
i highly incourage you guys to take this suggestion its radist idea i have been thinking up if you want to get in touch with me to see my many many ideas on this. please by all means get intouch with me asap via message throw me number to call and we can arrange somthing
cause i rember reading how you guys wanted to do a hack and slash style game on the crusades midevil times.
i got notbook wroten out on this idea.

No please Koei leave no language options in your games just leave the bad voice acting option like you been doing, so I can hear bad voice actors like Yuri Lowenthal do bad French accents. Please?

dont care. english voices apart from sima yi are perfectly fine if not better suited to the characters than the jap voices.
whats more of a concern is the "difficulty". koei you need to go back to the days of dw4:xl expert. dw5 onwards chaos is not a challenge. any idiot can make cheap games, look at team ninja. oops you merged with those rejects who didnt get sacked. dont stoop to their level. make challenging games, not cheap ones.
eg projectile spam is not a challenge

all that needs to happen besides the addition of japanese voice's is, BRING IT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL you are going way to far off and its becoming pretty lame, just remake dynasty warriors 1 and i will love you forever

I'd like Chinese voices.
Because "There's nobody guarding that base, ! There's nobody guarding that base, ! There's nobody guarding that base, !" gets very annoying pretty quick.

I would like to have that option in my dynasty warriors games, but as a "detail", if it's going to make the future games expensive, then don't add the japanise voice option.

I'd love this option very much, but with subtitle language options as well.
I like listening to Japanese VAs, even though I don't understand them. I think subtitles would be good in that case. Also, Jap VAs for DW as well, please.
Though I think it's too much to ask...

The more options, means the more expensive it will be to make. Meaning things will be left out, or unfinished, meaning the game will be worse. Unless it absolutely improves the game, time and money should not be wasted on it.

I would like the voice option. we only gain more playing options then losing them. If you dont like the japanese option just keep it english and if you dont like the english option just change it to japanese. they still have subtitles right. what ever you dont like just change, better then letting it CAN'T be change.

I think all developed nations in the world dress in Western styles for that matter. I guess what I was trying to get at was that I believe that Americans tend to be ashamed or ignorant of their own cultures and more interested in foreign cultures, and I suppose that may ring true in Japan and other places as well. Thanks for the enlightening statements.
As for the voice option, I am all for having the option available for the games.
The idea that Americans are ashamed or igorant of their culture is absurd.
Americans are a melting pot of different cultures, and as such tend to grab on to all different aspects of all types of different cultures. Americans are too diverse. Take me for example, I can take pride in my family and thier history, but I love all cultures and could never just cling to one. In the last 6 generations my family has roots in Cherokee, Scot, Welsh, Black African, German Jew. So what traditions should I cling to?
Or do I just embace what I like? See the point? The only thing I can agree with you is the last sentence. I too would like the option.
