hmm that could be just that perhaps your connection was connected to one too slow and you'd be disconnected or perhaps yours would be too slow , because i've never been disconnected before

I seriously doubt that it's just connection slowness, Seph. First off, this is now the only online game (on Xbox or PC) in which I get disconnected more than half the time, and I also play bandwidth-intensive games like Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, Battle for Middle Earth 2, and Star Wars: Empire at War. So I don't see how it could be my connection. And for all the other people I've connected to having bad connections just sounds like too big of a coincidence.

If u try SW2 on the PS2.Everything works well and im good at getting 4th weapons at that station.

PS2 doesn't even have online, which the only feature in the game that I'm having a problem with. Even 4th weapons are working okay.

I just got my 360 over the weekend, i have levelled up all my characters on my ps2 version, so i am in essence "starting over". my question is on XBOX Live does everyone start at the same level, or do you carry over your weapons and abilities from your non-live game? if you do, i better get crackin, and get them levelled up.

well, foomin, i also have the xbox360. yes, you hav your own weapons and abilities but challenges like treasure hunting or spying, your character will be set to default.

I think so. But there is hardly ever anyone online on the game which is really why I dont try to play it.

no joke-i tried all night last night(5pm-11pm) and not one person was on to play SW2. there are lots of people in the ranking section, some that i am familiar with from here, but, there was noone playing last night. i got Ginchiyo back up to level 50 yesterday, not all of the skills, but, that's ok and i really wanted to check out XBOX live.

yes, she was real, however, she only actually ruled and headed the Tachibana clan for a short period of time(about 5 years), before turning over leadership to her husband. as far as i know, the are no documented cases of her actually taking to the battlefield, so, while she may have had a rivalry with the Shimazu, she likely never fought Yoshihiro.

I have tried it by my house the people online are easy they dont know anything..
and all they use is Musashi and Hanzo it gets boring

..Once i get it i play you as my fav char.  Tadkatsu Honda! =)

There's two ways to pit your characters off. You can either use your character with all the experience, weapons, and skills you've unlocked for him/her offline, or you can have it so you'ree both lvl 50 with lvl 1 weapons and a small, predetermined skill list.

Online play can be pretty bad when your opponent takes advantage of all the exploits, like putting all his officers in the same position. And too many of them either use a uber-maxed Musashi or a lvl 1 character. If your opponent fights honorably as a samurai should, though, it's a blast.
