96 is Ending Pt. 1 I believe. I say that because 97 is Ending Pt. 2.
100 looks to be mid mission. I'm not positive of that.
Not sure about 106. Think it is before the mission starts.


However, this is my 3rd playthru. I started on Normal, and am Now in Expert. I'm also missing 1 Officer Profile. Can't remember the number right now.

well, dont know if you got the stuff yet or not, was awaiting you to tell the missing officer number, so then we could tell you how to get it, but apparently you have not posted yet.  more than likely though, it is oichi since you are just now playing on expert.

Couple of questions:

1. The guy named Miyoshi Musashi(sp?) that leads the troops known as "2 heavens as one" is near impossible to beat in rampage. So is there any pointers for defeating him? Also, is that the only way to get his troop type?

2. Whats this NewGame+ stuff? It says that you can start with you troops, armor, weapons, stats of your characters in their final battles. Is that true and how do you do it since this is my second time around. The only thing I started with is the special troops recieved from the special battles.

3. How are the other secret characters? I have Keiji, but don't have Ina, Fuma, or anyother secret characters.

1: no real point to recruiting miyamoto musashi, just by fighting him you get him in the char list.  it is the only way to get the troop type, but not really worth it as others later are better.

2: you get the armor, helms, and weapons of your officers they were equipped with as extra starting equipment the 2nd time around.  they dont start equipped with them, you have them in your inventory.

3: ina and keiji only secret chars i know of, both are great.

3. Yeah, sadly they are only in the japanese version. I found on a website but it was $135 and I can't even play it. I hate it when the Japanese get all the good stuff. Having lightning is a good thing for a beginning character.

If I level an officers troops from level 4 all the way to level 10,
will I be able to change there troop type to another and level that up to 10 and keep that and the original on level 10
e.g. Oda's horse troops are level 10 then I change him to gun will the horse troops stay at level ten while my gun troop level rises?

horse will stay at level 10.  each type has its own level.  it is possible to have one person with 10s in everything, just don't know why you would want that.

So that on some levels, you can use the type that make it easier for you, EG: Rifles at Nagashino maybe?

First off, very well done on creating that detailed walkthrough Wo Di. Second, I would like to know how I can attain the armours and helmets that The Takeda Officer Masakage Yamagata (or something), Toshimoto Saito (I know how to get his helmet), Kagagestsugu Naoe (again, I have his helmet, but not the armour), and finally Kenshin Uesugi and Shingen Takeda. This would be a great help to me, and I appreciate any help whatsoever.

Lastly, I ask for some quick advice. I've gone through the game with Nobunaga using horse troop types, and am currently considereing the worth of switching to spears or ninja, any advice is highly appreciated. Thanks.

(I know you have already listed all of the armours, however I don't know what they are called.)

for the most part, it is the battles against that force, that gives them.  wish i could be more detailed, but i dont truly know what takeda looks like in k3, as it has been moths since i played it.  it SHOULD be one of the items within that level.  I have 2 other walkthroughs, one a stage by stage and another detailing shops.  pm me your email if you want them, maybe they can help more.  I know for a fact you can get shingen's and kenshin's on their respective levels, i dont know about the officers though.

spears have good defense, low attack.  horse has good attack, low defense.  ninja is middle, but low hp.  i personally use nobunaga as a horse unit.  i use somebody... toshie meida(been a while since i played you can tell) as a spearmen, and either goemon or hanzo for ninjas.

the spears are best as just a wall, blocking wall you have a bow unit with them, and letting the bow unit use the combo to shoot over you.  helps with ranking to do this.

Ok, I'll probably just go with trial and error to try and get the armours and helmets, but thanks for the speedy reaction.
