I've been playing Samurai Warriors 2: Empires lately and I've noticed something a bit odd while playing.  I'm wondering if any of you who own this game have noticed this.

When you or the computer activate the Wheel formation, other than getting enhanced speed, does your armies attack and defence get a boost as well?

I'm playing the divided land scenario, and I have the xbox 360 version if that explains things.

trying to get a few things on empires.  the walkthroughs for this game are not helping.  

for events: honda's the greatest treasure of all, and nagamasa's a proud moment.  I am guessing these need to be done in a certain scenario since they never triggered yet, but im not sure.

finally, the policy card seccession.  i have looked everywhere, and all i see is random consultation.  got 60+ hours in this game and yet to see it.  anybody know what officers give it?

i realize its a long shot as this game came out so long ago but maybe somebody remembers something.

I have a question: which character you guys think better to go through Infinite Castle? Because I maxed out both Keiji and Nagamasa (my two favorite characters), but I can't go through it yet! Who's the best in the game, maxed out?

Kyon1979? When you use the Wheel Formation, you will recieve all of the abilities. That means that you and your entire army will have Attack Times Two, Defense Times Two, and Incrediable Speed.

zhao yun 006? The Greatest Treasure of All: Have Hideyoshi Toyotomi recruit Tadakatsu Honda after Hideyoshi clan name has changed name from Hashiba to Toyotomi. Hideyoshi gets this change after he achieves Rank One Kampaku. You must not have had Tadakatsu Honda or Ieyasu Tokugawa in your army before the name change.

A Proud Moment: While Nagamasa Azai is in your army as the lord, recruit Hideyori Toyotomi.

Seccession Policy? Sorry, but it's random man. It's all on your luck of the draw. No set officer gives it to you.

Hmm... but you recommend the Tonbo-Giri or what? Because I don't like Tadakatsu Honda too much (don't take me wrong, I like him, I just prefer other characters) and the Tonbo-Giri is a little annoying to obtain...

Everyone has there favorites. So I understand where your coming from. As far as getting the Tonbo-Giri? Yes, I do suggest that you get it. Now true, that getting it is annoying, but if you manage to get the Matsukaze, then that will no longer be a problem.

I suggested Tadakatsu Honda because, true, he is on the slow side, but his attack patterns make it hard to stop him in the middle of his combos. Also, having the Monk who goes by the name Tenkai Nankebo, or Nankabo, (Can't remember his last name exactly), he is the strongest of the Male Monks, and he will save your life more times than not.

Yeah, Tadakatsu is like a PWR character from Warriors Orochi, he has that Hyper Armor. About Tonbo-Giri, I have Matsukaze, but when the swordsmen arrive, I kill Musashi, but then Kojirö enters the garrison, because the people who were there protecting the south gat of the western garrison are gone because of the previous fights. And so it's all ended. Even by saving the game when the message "Swordsmen have appeared!" appears, I can't impede Kojirö from entering the garrison! You think it's better to kill him first?
About the ideal character, do you think Nene's a good call too? Because she can transform into nearby people, making fights with Keiji, Musashi and Tadakatsu so much easier...
And about the guard, I try with Takanobu Ryuzöji (the best swordsman, in my opinion) and Sukenao Inadome (the best musketeer, in my opinion), because they seem to suit the way I fight better... I will try here with Tenkai and tell you the results.

Sorry for the late reply. As far as trying to stop Kojiro? Your best bet would be to try and keep everyone alive. Plus, a tip that will save you time, and the lives of the ones guarding the gates? Kill the leader of the Foot Troop Units, and the others will flee. Sealing the gates can help you out ALOT as well.

As far as using Nene in Survival Mode? True, she can transform, but the higher the floor your on, the easier it is for you to get knocked out of the chosen General / Officer form. Plus, if you have your Musou bar high enough, to where your glowing Yellow, and you have an added Special Attack, you won't get that via Transformation with Nene. So no, I would not recommend you, using Nene.

keijimaeda73? Sealing the enemies gates will keep you from backtracking, as well as keep your allies who are defending the gates, alive.

Orochi_X? Persian Mare's Hellfire ability, lights your enemies on fire, when you hit them with the horse.

Mood Child's Stalwart ability, keeps you from being dismounted from it, when you get hit by your enemies.

Oath Brother Orochi_X? Dexterity increases the speed of how fast your Warrior, (Who just happens to have this on there Weapon) attack speed is. The more of them you have on your Weapon, the faster their attack speed will be.
