I"ve only been active here a short time, since DW7 was announced, but I've had a great time with this forum and met some very interesting people (aka you guys). I hate to see it so empty these days. 

I have a KoeiWarriors account, but the threads are so lengthy and a lot of it is just people arguing about pointless stuff. It's just not the same. People here are so nice and friendly. I feel so much more comfortable here.

I'm usually not sentimental, and I never thought I'd get attached to people on a videogame forum, but I'm finding myself really sad about this. 

I'll try to stay active where I can.

It's really depressing seeing this official (this is the official one, right? >_>) forum like this.  Koei held pretty much the main reason I even own consoles any longer and it looks like very shortly I'm not going to see new (Tecmo)Koei games ever again lest I import.  I'd play an import, sure, but none of my friends will.  Ehh, I guess I should just say my goodbyes to TecmoKoei and just ignore anything they do ever again lest I get my hopes up for another title that will never make it here.  Knowing me, I won't and I'll just get more bitter by the day.

In my opinion, Koei as a whole was left behind in the corporate merger. It seems that information from them has just dried up.

The forums are dead. Koei's Twitter account is dead. The Facebook account is hit or miss - they didn't make any posts between late June and early November.

But then, there aren't even that many new titles being released anyways.

its the reason im not too active anymore i just dont see the point hardly anyone talks here and thats because well we are KOEI fans not tecmo fans and since the merge everything seems to be overpowered by tecmo ideas. its hardly even fun to play the latest titles anymore.
and although the mods are active without an active admin they are basiclly users with a little extra power.

ive been here for 3 years soon and although ive enjoyed it i just dont see my self logging on at all anymore. sure i miss friends but my original band of brothers / sisters has long since disbanded
i meen i assume most of you know jinkojirodragonmiyamoto and sun.shang.xiang, there was echo i miss her paige who i dont blame for grifting in and out, zero69x havent seen him for a while and my original oath sibling cao king.

these people were truly dedicated members and over the years as the site drifted further and further out of activness they have done the same i think you will find this with most users even myself.

WELL i'll be back soon maybe next weekend i dont know how long it will be but its inevitable this site will be a ghost town  soon unless koei intervenes i come here now for friends and info like shu fan ive known u for ages know and ma su ive seen you around for ages su lu pi ur dedicated but tbh how long for

Although the forum is pretty much dead it is still nice to see that some of us hae stuck around.

I remember when this place had a general forum and the activity in here was pretty friggin good. Then they remade the forums and it just wasn't the same anymore. Now its dead. Anyways, back to teamliquid, just wanted to visit here for nostalgic reasons.

TK is one of those corporations that doesn't feel the need to get in contact with its customers. The North American Market is their fourth market, and possibly their least profitable, behind Europe, China-Korea, and Japan. Being a quaternary market they just don't care to put the effort in. They don't seem to realize just how much they alienate their base, and the more they alienate that base the less profits they will make. I would say that they either: Wrote this forum off or its stuck in limbo. I prefer to believe that this forum is stuck in limbo rather than be abandoned.

The forum isn't depressing, you all are.  If you want the forum to be 'alive' again, then there needs to be a topic that people are interested in talking about.  Last I checked there were 61 guests on the forum.  If there is a topic that is stimulating enough to get some of those people to join, then the forum will be reborn.

Having said that, the forum is dead.

theres nothing for us to write a topic about realy anymore when we make new topics it ends up not being released over seas or people are just not intrested.

Last I checked there were 61 guests on the forum.  If there is a topic that is stimulating enough to get some of those people to join, then the forum will be reborn.

I doubt we can make a thread to entice however many of those guests are actual people to register and become active members; if they wanted to register they probably would have already.
