I saw that earlier. I wouldn't put it past KW if they posted that as a cruel April Fool's joke (last year they shut the site down and said KW would closed indefinitely).

it was never stated s an overseas rlease but ive seen it in a number of places now due to the poor sales of sw3

The chances of 3Z/XL getting an overseas release are still pretty slim, but there hasn't been any official announcement from Koei yet.

I hope KOEI announces something soon. We need a more next-gen Samurai Warriors game and it seems that SW3Z is the closest thing to such a game. However, the import prices are ridiculous and I am still just an elementary learner of the Japanese language. I'd much rather welcome a proper localized port from overseas.

I've been a fan of KOEI games, albeit not all of them, since Dynasty Warriors 2. I've got a decent handful of DW and SW games and also various other KOEI titles. So, I'm not just some schmuck trying to come in here and make demands or what have you. I am a loyal fan and I would just really love to be able to play Samurai Warriors 3 within the foreseeable future. That's it.

I am serious when I say I have been dying for a true next-gen Samurai Warriors game. I've had to go with Sengoku Basara for now, but they just don't have some of the characters and styles I like. I've gone back to SW2:Empires on occasion, but after seeing footage and gameplay of SW3Z, it's a little hard to play it for too long, heh.

Please, please, please KOEI, don't forget your overseas fanbase! I know it's been wanning, but we are still here. Dynasty Warriors 7 seems to be doing okay.

Very touching Darth. Though I believe the z series is japan only. But your hope does make me a little more confident. Lets go koei!!! Give the u.s. and europe some love too.

Another fan from DW2 to now who possesses every English game for every system owned reporting. Getting depressing seeing more and more titles not making it over.  Imagine it won't be long before the base games themselves just don't make it.  The time to lose one's favourite video game series is soon coming, I fear.

I do hope such thoughts are proven wrong.

For shame....... I strongly doubt koei would do that. They may not bring us the side projects and updated versions, but the main series staples will always hit our shelves. We get dw and sw plus the empires versions too! I have doubts about samurai warriors z coming but an xl dlc is pretty much a given. We got sw2 empires as well. I dont see why we wouldn't get another one of those as well. Im even confident that Dw 7 will see an empires as well. It may take a while but I believe it WILL happen and it will be awesome. Koei takes care of japan first but they wont leave us out in the cold. Just be patient friends.

Not making an overseas releases is a shame, for not only would we ,the fans, buy the product and most-if not all- the expansions. In my opinion , this action is not only bad for the image of the company and the franchise of SW, but also it is a bad financial move, because money that could be earned by them is lost.

Judging the sales of a game on one system and using those sales to cancel a release is silly. If Samurai Warriors wasn't selling on PS2 why did it get 5 separate games released?

It would be nice to see Samurai Warriors 3 Z and 3 Xtreme Legends and 3 Empires to be seen in stores outside of Japan and China. Many fans would love to play these games, either buying them at the store, or at least buying them as downloadable games.

It would be nice to see Samurai Warriors 3 Chronicles 1 and 2 be put on the Wii and Playstation 3.
