I'll go first

"I only drink when we win a trophy, thats why people think I'm an alcoholic." - Ian Ferguson-Glasgow Rangers football legend.

"I saw, in a flash, the whole picture of our striving to win the cup. I saw all the dire flicks of fortune which had beaten us when we should have won. That ball should have been in the net. It was on the penalty spot instead. if I scored, we would win; if I failed, we could be beaten. It was a moment of agony."

Captain Davie Meiklejohn, on taking the famous penalty in the 1928 Cup Final, when at last we broke our 25 year hoodoo in the competition. He scored from the spot, and Rangers went on to thrash Celtic 4-0

I'll add more later!

How about you guys!

I can't remember what book it's from or who said it but I find this statement so true.

All men want peace, but all men want a peace that suits them.

Interesting Topic.... Alright... Here's a creed that I live by:

"Everyone has potential. But only few will ever realize it" - Ryu - Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter.

This is indeed true. We are all born with the will and potential to be destined for greatness and success. But some simply end up going down the wrong path, and thus, making things extremely difficult. More or so to the point of which they simply give up.

I doubt that, more likely most are not motivated. Define greatness or success. The path I choose is what I make of it. One person maybe motivated to gain wealth and influence. I prefer a quiet life, with little stress, with a small income. Many would consider me a failure, because of my mild existance. I consider it a success. I could if I wished, strive for what most consider greatness, but I consider it folly. A roof over my head, meals, and integrity with my creator is what I value.

"Rewards and punishments are the lowest form of education."

I wonder if anyone will know who said that without using Google.

My story, Fallen Kingdoms read it, you'll like it Wink

History is... amazing, but it is also tragic. It is a story of never ending heroism, deceitfulness, wonder, pain, and tragedy. It is an unfinished epic, an unsolved mystery. There is so much we do not know, and there is so much we have yet to learn.

I prefer a quiet life, with little stress, with a small income. Many would consider me a failure, because of my mild existance. I consider it a success. I could if I wished, strive for what most consider greatness, but I consider it folly. A roof over my head, meals, and integrity with my creator is what I value.

What I meant when I said that, is the fact that whatever it is that you wish to achieve, you can do so, by performing the neccessary steps on making your dream / goal, a reality.

When I said that those who go down the wrong path, I meant that those who do, tend to think that, that is the way to be. Taking all kinds of dishonorable means, to get what they want. Which may seem like it's working when you get everything you've ever desired. Until one day, you end up losing it all.

Now personally, you are more than welcome to do as you please with life, I for one, don't believe that anyone is a failure. Or it's never too late to do something. Or it's too late for a change. And anything else that may seem negative.

Life is whatever you make of it. Let alone your means for it. So if that is how you choose to live your life, then I say live it up bro. Life is too short, to be concerned with what people think of you, or think they know what's best for you. Those who simply have to find the means to talk down to someone, or anything of that nature, are only expressing how they feel about themselves.

For short: "Be who you want to be. Not what others want to see." Cool

This one is more of a Motto than a quote but it's one of my favorite's:
                                   "Who dares win's"
Can anyone guess who's motto is that?

I'll leave you with this quote:
"A lot of people are afraid of heights. Not me, I'm afraid of widths".-Steven Wright

I thought is was along the lines of "He who Dares Wins"?

Well if that's what you meant to put down, then that would be from the British Special Armed Forces, and the Austraila Special Armed Forces. It's a mark of encouragement through battle. Or something like that. I could be wrong though. Tongue

Moving on another one that is a creed that I live by:
"A victory that is won cheapy, is not a victory worth celebrating". - Ninja Warrior. (Love that show!!!) Cheesy

No, but I'd frown.

Well you're right if you guessed it was China from it's Confucian feel. It's not Tzu though, care to give another guess?
