I think the show is extremely inaccurate and just downright unfair at times, but I still watch it just to get a better look at the weapons, and I love watching artificial substances getting shredded to pieces by various weapons.

There are SOOO many inconsistencies that they do that just make me yell at the TV that it's just pitiful. Take, for instance, the show when they had the champion of champions, when Spartan Vs. Samurai. A reason Wallace was eliminated was because 'his chainmail did nothing.' Except, in the Viking vs. Samurai episode, this exact same chainmail stopped the 'greatest sword in the world.' Chainmail doesn't have much room to change. The thing is that it's weak to piercing. There were other reasons he was taken out, I know, but the fact that they merely said this angered the heck out of me.

BUT, I do enjoy watching the show. It's very fun to watch weapons destroy ballistic gel, and it's even funnier to watch the experts try to act.

The United States program must have begun airing earlier, I've already seen that one. In fact, the series is over for us now.

And for some reason, out of the entire two seasons, the only people I wanted to win and actually won were the Azande, William Wallace, Rajput, and Spartan. The rest all lost somehow. Slackers.

I wonder how the ninja lost to Spartan....he could use one of 3 ranged weapons from the very early beginning of the combat (shuriken and the stick with darts while he was on the tree, chain when Spartan was not looking at him)

The simulation has no purpose as to make it as intense as possible. It is by no means an actual representation of either one's skill. If the ninja had just shot him in the back, then it wouldn't have been a very exciting match, now would it?

And if you truly think the ninja would have won, then please, go seriously think about this. Ninja were NOT the superawesomely powered ninjas you see on television. There were simply agile assassins and spies. How they could be defined as warriors really confused me.

The spartan should have won, it is no surprise that he did. It wasn't even a fair match. I think the ninja should have fought the apache or someone like that.

I agree that the spartan would win in every battlefield except from the the forest....this is the perfect place to hide and do sneaky things, like most ninja

I think that they considered him warrior because it is a one on one duel......If there was an army of ninja they would have lost against a Spartan army. For them all Spartan were warriors.Slaves (named είλωτες/ilotes in greek [and only in sparta]) and foreigners did all the other jobs--except politics, old spartans were the council

No, even if it was a forest, I think the Spartan would still win. When there's one of you and he knows you're there, you don't have much chance for sneaky stuff.

And I still don't believe a ninja was that much of a warrior. I admit that a battle almost couldn't be fought without them, but I take that as meaning that ninjas were intelligence gatherers and assassins.

I thought for females they might have done the two amazon warrioresses. The ones that actually were in the amazon, and I'm horrible at this subject, but I think were was mention of a warrioress tribe in Greek Mythology that was based off a real one.

And I hope that you were, because that would have been stupidity at it's greatest.

And Underworlda2, I don't believe I said this, but the developers said that they have the environment be as equal as possible. Essentially, there is no environment. These 1,000 battles take place in some computer purgatory.

And the black eggs weren't effective enough to buy the ninja enough time to deal a devastating blow to the spartan. And have you seen his shield? All the spartan has to do is raise it about three inches. That's not like dodging a spear or anything. It can be achieved on instinct.

And once again I say, the simulation was nothing more than flash. It is by no means an accurate representation of what would happen.

Meh, if there's one thing I hate it's when specific people are fighting. That's really just wound up and silly.
