Sorry about that, "He was of the son of a prince..."

My story, Fallen Kingdoms read it, you'll like it Wink

History is... amazing, but it is also tragic. It is a story of never ending heroism, deceitfulness, wonder, pain, and tragedy. It is an unfinished epic, an unsolved mystery. There is so much we do not know, and there is so much we have yet to learn.

His father wasn't a prince, he claimed that his ancestor was a prince that died roughly 300 years before Liu Bei.
Well I did some research, he was the grandson of a grandson of a grandson of a grandson, or something like that. It's quite a huge family tree.

That is what he claimed, he might have actually thought this, or used the possibility that it was true to his advantage. We cannot be sure if that is his actual lineage or not.

No, Bei himself was the one who sold sandals with his mother. His father was a magistrate.

Well, King Duncan (I have no clue which one) is my 14th or so Great Uncle, by marriage. Grin But haven't we already found out IF he is the great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandson (or nephew) of Emperor Goazu?

I don't think there is any solid evidence. Not even in the time when Liu Bei was alive. It was just what he had been told, so he ran with it and eventually became Emperor of the Han. But it was not the Han in eyes of the Empeor of Wei, just a false declaration.
