With Bama being out of it now, I suppose I'll pull for Auburn to go ahead and win it all. I'd really like to keep the title in the SEC, at least for one more year.

Well.....yeah. I think we have a great shot. I know we've lost 2 games, but if we can contain Newton I think we can pull it off, seeing as Auburns defense is horrendous.

Dang, I cant believe Boise loss to Nevada. They should have won, they were better. Sucks when you have to depend on your kicker who cant even make something ten feet in front of his face. I definitely think they deserved that Rose Bowl bid, but they will probably only make it to some lame bowl now. They had some amazing plays during the game, especially that last one with 9 seconds left.

Oh Well, OREGON is going to take it all baby!

I gotta say, Nevada came through for me. I was counting on them to knock Boise out of the way, and they did it.

But the bad news of the weekend was Alabama....What the hell happened? How did we manage to blow a 24 point lead? I just watched that game in amazement at how we choked in the 2nd half. But, we didn't have a shot at anything, so losing was only a minor setback. We need to win our bowl game and take some momentum into next season.

Oh, and Oregon is a lock to win the title IMO.

It's 2 awesome offenses in a game that I think could he as high as 48-45. I'm taking Auburn. Newton is just too good, I think he finds a way to win it for Auburn, but I do think it'll be close. Oregon is also good offensively, but I think the Auburn defense in the 2nd half will come up with some key stops to give Auburn the win. That's what I think. And yes, I know I said Oregon was a lock earlier, but after what Auburn did to SC....how could anybody not have them right now?

I can agree with what you are saying. I do see Auburn's D-line being the biggest players in this game.

yeah. Auburn has to get good penetration in the interior to stop Oregon. I think Fairley for Auburn is gonna be the difference maker defensively for Auburn.

I'm looking forward to watching SMU in the Armed Forces Bowl, and I'm also looking forward to the next few seasons of SMU football.

I think June  Jones has the best offensive philosophy in the game... and I really want to see him return to the NFL sometime soon.. especially with all the recent rules changes aimed at helping the passing game.

I am also looking forward to watching SMU, when they get in a rhythym they're fun to watch. June Jones has done a great job getting that program to a respectable status again, and I expected nothing less.
