wasn't it mitsuhide who suggested and carried out the order and took out tanba [sp?] ? it's true one man can hardly make a difference, but we're talking about some sort of a japanese thomas edison or something lol, plus, not only was he smart, he also was great as a tactician and a leader of men, from my point of view, i can see him leading the entire western army to victory if he was alive and sekigahara still occurred.

that's my humble opinion on the matter.

well yeah he could but would there be people to trust him due to the fact a lot of generals defected to the Eastern army their was no trust and they were not going to risk their clan so the sought to betray the west and join the east who was clearly the side with the highest moral
