Hello, i just finished a game with Gongsun Gong conquering china, starting with Gongsun Du in the Dong Zhuo's rising scenario. Just went south in a boat in time before getting crushed by Gongsun Zan in advanced settings, no fictionnals characters.

I was wondering if anyone succeed to stand in his orignal city at the beginning, i did tried a lot of times.

It's been a while since I haven't played, but my last game was somewhat what you describe. I played as Gongsun Gong in Liu Bei in Shu. Managed to eliminate Cao Cao very slowly, first by dueling his troops, then by taking one city after another. I must say that in the first years I had to cheat a little by saving before asking for a duel, and loading until it triggered. Otherwise he sents 10k units or even more, with good officers at you, and you can't do anything with few officers of talent.

Gongsun Du was one of my "projects" when I used to play this game often. I took great pride in conquering china with him. My one main and true regret is that I rarely had Du survive until the end of the game. laugh

My story, Fallen Kingdoms read it, you'll like it Wink

History is... amazing, but it is also tragic. It is a story of never ending heroism, deceitfulness, wonder, pain, and tragedy. It is an unfinished epic, an unsolved mystery. There is so much we do not know, and there is so much we have yet to learn.
