hahaha who just made a kessen? played a great mssacare? slaughterd and has been slaughterd? took on 10000+ forces with a 2000? panatrete through the most fortifed walls in japan?

your gonna not belive what happen on my mori campaign i just reached the rank of ``conqurer`` and my enemy the otomo are the sameand just went to the (militery) on my menu and choosed kessen aginst the only one i can do with and then i choosed what i alwes choose in evrey single battle since i had 6 lands i chosen motonari mori with 2000 cavalry and other 2200 troops (all are infantry and one 1200 dragoons) and i am slightly outnumberd and outmatched so the enemy has more then 10000+and those fools got like 5 small fortresses and i dont care about that factor any way there is a long river in the center split the land into tow parts the enemy got many sml frtrsses (i will call them stables) all the stables are in the western side of the map and got 1 in the east guarded by 1 archer regiment and so those fools send thier commaner sorin otomo to the east to spurt the small force over there and sorin and his men sisent get evven close to the stable they just stoped  walking next to a wooded area and quikly got my tow horse regiments (1 dragoon 1 cavalry) into him and the dragoons dident fire but they ran and charged causing the enemy to lose tow foot archers and thats 400 men out of his regiment and the dragoons kept attacking while the other horse man running to reach the fight and i command them to the flank of the enemy and charged into em all this happened in seconds and sorin and his men were at a low moral and are not even fighting or defending themselves they were even facing the wrong diection and other enemy troops dident bother to move or do somthing and i defeted sorin in like 40 seconds gaining all his territory exept for 2 provinces

sounds like you got lucky dude and the computer froze. Last time i played a kessen i lost but you know you cant be defeated so i regained my clans power i regained my clans independence and fought a second kessen with the same clan that had beaten me and won.

kinda cool to be like this but when you are beaten in a kessen your fame is nearly 0 or mybey zero you must have a verry big lands to keep a good rank to make another kessen

just an advice few elite units like your clan leader and 2000 horses with him all the enemy will be coming for you and you will beat them easily by hiding in the lodge and when the enemy reaches it go out on a surprise attack this will lower thier morale and kill them easily

when you finish all enemy melee units go to take care of the archers or chase the fleeing troops and then go back for the others (archers) they will be running from the fight aswell to regain thier morales and catch them easily because we all now that the archers are not good at all in a melee fight espicely horse man against them the cavalry are the best damage but a lowered defense so those archers will be slaughterd and keep cahsing the others to lower the enemy numbers and they wil have fewer regiments to protect all thier fortresses

thanks for the advice

i was playing at expert and not using any muskets just pikes archers and cavalry so after i lost had to do a lot of work to get back to rank pretty entertaining also the first and second kessen with that clan they used muskets (first time i lost second time i won.)

WOW but dident they sourund your clan? and then you cant attack any one exept them? or there is some another clans at the way?

any way its a miracle you survived that chaos through troubled times and regained you glory and throne

Tactics and luck win battles my friends. Best friend, in your fight against otomo you were very very lucky. Had the otomo officer hetsugi AKA dosetsu  tachibana come to otomos rescue he would have most likely crushed you. As for tatics in a battle I fought the takeda playing a turn as imagawa. I really just wanted to bash structures in his home fief. Anyway imagawa 8600 troops takeda 13200. Units for imagawa 3 musket 2 at 1400 1 at 1200. 3 pike imi with 2000 2 other units 1000. Takeda 1 unit 1200 rifles 1 unit 1400 bows 2 units of horse total of 3600 horse the rest pikes. This by the way is about the average number of troops I put in the field. Tactics simple after a few failed I reverted to an old standby. I left my 3 fortresses and main camp empty. The with such an advantage in numbers will ALWAYS send 1 or more officers to attack your fortresses or camp. I had imagawa 2 musket and 1 other pike unit stomp on each officer they sent to attack. In a week of battle time I cut his forces in half losing 0 troops. I did lose a total of 600 musket 400 pikes BUT only after taking 2 of their fortresses. I took losses only because as usual several of the imagawa officers refused to enter shelters when they began to lose troops. Overall remainder of takeda forces at field battles end haranobu 1600 of 2000 horse left.his younger brother 1200 of 2000 pikes left. So he lost 10400 troops 1200 rifles and 2000 horses. Imagawa lost 600 rifles and a total of 1000 troops. These are fairly normal results for my battles. In 2 battles 1 to oda and this imagawa 1 the takeda lost 22000 troops 6000 horses and 2400 guns.

skirmish at the anto

battle tactics.

the battle beguns with severel enemies outnumber me heavily and so i had a alot lower forces but rinforcments arrived for me but they were no equel to enemy rinforcments they had 2 1000 pikes RINFORCMENTS and i had 1400 bow man and my commander is 1000 pikes and another 400 pikes and 1000 pike man and the enemy uses 1000 horse 2000 pikes 1400 pikes with thier rinforcments 2000 troops are the rinforcements and the enemy as usual attacked the bildings and started oporeting on the strectures a long the river as my army on the haste coming to the rescue and managed to rout the horse man to tgier camp the horseman remaining are 956 when they fled from me cuz and type of unit attacking bildings flee when the lose only 1 health! so they were reatreting as the enemy rinforcements have arrived they did the same as the others destroying strectures and i launched assualts at the enemy as they flee to regain&recover as i lowred the enemy numbers to only 2000 men they fled you now the them they flee when they are outnumbred.....the cowards!


i dident explain the whole battle exactly cuz its a skirmish but verry long and quite tactics have been used

in the east the enemy lines have broken and the date were gone from this epic chaos and all the clans were captured by the anto and the nagao atampts to make a stand against my qonkurers.....the anto
the center have been messive battles and the shogun have been assasnited and the capital have been captured by the myoshi and this makes a new stand of a strong clan in the way of my anto campaign.....

in the west the otomo slaughters the people but thier bitter enemies the mori and the shimazu and the ouchi atampt to make a stand against them making it hard for them to advance thier strong clan and thier lines have held but they are soonly they will probaly meet thier demise....

the ouchi barley survives the chaos and they are very weak clan kinda unknawn reason makes them weak.......

The ouchi had internal strife among its officers as well as issues with a bunch of mostly older and not very capable officers. Harukata sue's rebellion didn't help. He had otomo's younger and at least in terms of his stats in this game worthless brother installed as clan head. Anyway as set up in this game,the ouchi are a non issue. Battles against them are usually silly as their officers for the most have low LED.,low IQ and so end up getting crushed, often losing 12000 troops in each battle. When properly built up they do have some nice fiefs.

yeah evrey time i play the (struglle for power) some one at the ouchi takes over the clan but i played A LOT after i post my last massege


and now the ouchi have taken the mori and the other clan north of mori and they have 4 fiefs and the otomo have been alreedy hard nothing can stop them and the myoshi losers allied with many enemies against me leaving me in a despret situation and that nagao is become realy anoying (not at attacking me but defending thier land and repelling me from getting sown from my place to the center)

fanaticly the otomo made a decisive allience against me but were soonly met thier demise and lost on the battlefield.......


in the west the date arrwos are lighted with fire and the oda cavalry charge and useugi guns reloaded and the suzuki fortifacations are rinforced....

oddly evrey one bruttaly fights bruttaly in an attampt to make some wins while hundred of thousends of troops march on the battlefield and drop dead with some muskteers and peasents were drafted from thier homes and thier homelands were destroyed and the odds in the west north attampting to win thier little wars and fanatics arrive at the beaches of the east and the capetal is suffering from extended battles from those fanatics and spears are not inviteble as a weapon any more.....


noblity and honor disappered from the land to become murcyless monsters from brutt clans of the land........

kessen between takeda and useugi.


i was playing the useugi campaign.... they have a fair leader. kenshin is a great warrior. i found good fights in their campaign. as an offensive campaigner. i built a huge barracks in the centre of my land. other strectures were in the sides.  i generate my suplies from other fiefs. the other fiefs work as my slaves..... giving me loads of food and gold and mostly.... fresh recruits.

i fought off the wothless weaklings off my lands. driving them back to their huts. dishonoring their leaders and slaying their officers with no mercy! winning fear among all other weaklings..... i take loot shimazu's little collection of hovels... earning an epic musket pruduction. my conquest reached ooda's little clan.... foolish idiots. they all dident had chances winning a battle..... i destroyed those stone huts they were hidding at. winning ultimate glory by looting their lands. i will continue to my battle details later.

i know this tobic has 120 days not replied. but lets open new conversations. eh?

there is few tobics around here already.
