mits, ya I remember but was anyone else holding either the regent rank or shogun title? The 1st to get 16 fiefs and has 40000+ fame gets offered the regent rank. In all my other games the shogun was around so regent was all I could get. But in this both yoshiteru n yoshioki are dead sooooo. I really want the bloody thing so that I control who gets any of the titles that remain. But whatever happens happens.
Bugg yes big castles look neat. I'm getting a bit jaded about that as there are 20+ 5 stories in the hands of different diamyo. Oda has a 7 miyoshi an 8 and by the end of the current game year 1557 there will be several other7s and maybe 10 more 5s. And ya having the high forgien rating 600+ gives you great field forts. And of course famous merchants do sell cheaper if your forgien is real high. You'd think they'd have based it on culture.

i do think foreign has more influence on the merchants and culture with monks but man wolf i was playing the scenario were everyone is against the Oda so i executed Yoshiaki if i remember correctly and that would mean there was no shogun, wait i just remembered something the land was divided by three forces the Otomo, Oda, and Date, and both of them reached unifier before me so man i can't remeber and my PS2 is out of whack and won't read any game i insert into it

Sorry to hear about your ps2 woes. Like I said if oda gets shogun fine, if not ok. The highest title I could obtain was the kyshu title,the top seven are open and a few others will be. Need them no,but I would like to see every rank n' title in use and most of the items. I can't firgure out why they got so many gun items. Honestly there are like 30. It might make an interestin kessen, using 16 dragoon units.

yeah a hell of a fight but they should have added more lvl. 10 katanas there is only 2 or more katanas in general

Almost a rehash of an old thread. Ya shoulda been more blades more things for counter/volley/charge as well as items for demolish n' rampage. Lets see we got too many guns the horses, I have seen a retreat not succeed except for when the game decided it wanted things to be different. And lets see nothing against tea items paintings or rally but again way to many considering there are only 10 confuse/taunt. Some more armor woulda been nice. But it is what it is. Another reason I am spending so much time doing the cultural events thing. It isn't perfect but it can help. But you're right the "items" coulda been thought out better.

ya shigen gives a horse to haruyuki yamamoto well if you don't play him he does, and I swear he always gets captured and usually agrees to join oda if he asks. Go figure to many useless items like horses n rally not enough usefull 1s. Makes ya wonder what goes through game designers minds.

Thought bout game design myself. I couldn't make a worse game than many of the experienced companies. Look at final fantasy they have come out with some monumental flops. I wonder why koei went with gun items at all. Japan had a powerful bow (the diakyu) that was made to be used on horseback. It wasn't uncommon to have mounted troops dismount n' fight. I just havn't played I.T. enough to remember if they fixed any of that. I've thought an rpg combined with strategy aspects would rock. For instance I miss being able to start a clan like the old RTKs games. Have an unocupied fief somewhere. Being able to improve your land so some of those worthless spots were usuable..... On n' on

Havn't played ROTK 10. Got tic'd off with either 7 or 8 n gave up on the series. I think an item for using bows mounted isn't needed. I see it like this, they'd have lower attack power less chance to confuse. A higher attack rating than a normal bow unit but less than a calvery unit. Maybe a unit specic command to allow switching from bows to naginatos or yari. You access the switch option withen the command menu. Do away with that stupid command to let the game control your officers. Mounted bows have been used for 1000s of years as have javelin n' sling units. Shouldn't be hard to make ot work.

21 barracks? Are you joking? If you aren't not trying to be rude but that goes so far beyond insane/stupid that I can't find a word for it. There is no reason not a single 1 to build more than 4 and a complex, which should put you at well over 16000 troops which is all you can take into a battle. YOU can use more in a kessen but you have to use governers and thus use the troops in the fiefs they govern. Honestly there isn't a single good reason to build more than 3 barracks and a complex this should give you 12000+ troops which is about all the game uses. And what no culture forgien? Sorry a good fief is a ballenced 1. Better fiefs generate better harvests more gold have less trouble with order/loyalty droping. As well culture brings tea guys poets ect allowing you to build up officer stats. High forgien creates lower prices to buy guns horses even food or items. Again not trying to be rude but maybe rethink your game play

as i mentioned. other fiefs work as slaves. giving me all what they is earning.
HAHA! foriegners are like scum to me. i dont want them. culture are basic. i get few culture. commrece are coward. i dont need them. 21 barracks is good. lotsa troops to conquer the land for me and meseelf!
