[Hero of Chaos]

Here you can post scenarios that you would have made if there had been a scenario editor in RTK XI (or that you will make if there is one in RTK XII). Just choose a name for the scenario,whether it's historical or fictional,in which year it plays and what forces there are and which cities they have. Give a small story for the scenario as well! Officers are not necessary,but if you have the time,then I will not stop you to post them as well...so,I'll start:

Name: The Tiger and the Noble

Year: 201 AD

H/F: Fictional

Story:
Things went bad for Cao Cao. Yuan Shao proved to be not an entirely failure in war and defeated him at Guandu,Sun Ce survived his assassination and attacked the Central Plains,conquering Xu Chang and rescuing the emperor,and Cao Cao barely escaped the assassination plot of Dong Cheng. He lost almost all of his territory,but still,his officers stayed loyal to him. Now,Cao Cao wants revenge.
Meanwhile,tension grew between Yuan Shao and Sun Ce. Both wanted the central plains. Both wanted the emperor. But only one could get it. So the two brave men prepared to fight against each other,the whole country looked in fear to those two. Who would win in the end? Yuan Shao? Sun Ce? Or someone else?

Name: A Land of Many Dynasties.

Year: 196

H/F: Fictional

Story:
In their struggle, Guo Si and Li Jue had killed the Emperor and his entire family.  The land is now under complete disorder as there is no Emperor.  Some are trying to use the power vaccuum to stake claim themselves.  Others support those who would be of lineage to the Han. 

-Liu Zhang has voiced his support for Liu Biao's ascension to the throne to carry out the Han Dynasty surrendering all his lands. 
-Ma Teng and Gongsun Zan meanwhile have voiced their support for Liu Bei's ascension to the throne as the legitimate heir providing their armies and land. 
-Yuan Shu has taken the moment to use the Imperial Seal to claim a new dynasty citing the change of the Heavens, and has found an ally in Lu Bu. 
-Yuan Shao seeing his younger cousin proclaim himself an emperor, did the same opposing his cousin's claim due to bieng the elder clan member. 
-Sun Ce, Zhang Lu and Cao Cao in turn took the opportunity to proclaim their own autonamous dynasties seperate from the rest citing the Han's elimination with Sun Ce and Cao Cao not bieng content with only their current lands.

In this world that was once unified under solely the Han Dynasty now see's multiple claims.  The chaos would no doubt be unrivalved by any other historical civil unrest.

Oh,yeah,you're right. Actually historical meant that everything goes according history until that point (so events like Dong Zhuo happened),but I see that it gets confusing,so I'll edit this.

Name: The great uprising

Year: 216 AD

H/F: Fictional

Story:
It was the year 216. It was a turbulent year for the whole country. Cao Cao had died because of illness. Now the big question was: How will everything go on in the country? Cao Cao's by that time eldest son Cao Pi saw himself as the rightful heir,however,there were some people in the court who where against it. These men were led by Xun Yu and Wei Feng. Although Xun Yu was a loyal servant of Cao Cao,he feared that Cao Pi could overthrow Emperor Xian,so he rose against him. Xun Yu persuaded Emperor Xian to rise against Cao Pi. Mass executions of Cao and Xiahou members were ordered in the whole country,but Cao Pi was able to escape. However,his surviving family members feared that Cao Pi died,so most of them rose their own armies. Liu Bei pledged his alligiance to Emperor Xian,while Sun Quan declared himself King of Wu. Who would unite the land in this chaotic times?

Why would Xiahou Yuan and Xiahou Dun be seperate factions?  wouldn't one of them give the full support to the other and not against each other?

Like I said in the story,everything is in chaos and nobody is really sure whether their family is still alive or not. So many people take the initiative,two of them being the both Xiahou brothers. Both think that the other brother is dead already.

Well,in fact I just wanted to spread the forces a bit so none of the "Cao inheritors" is too powerful at the beginning. And in the Power Struggle scenario,Xiahou Dun sits in Xin Ye while Xiahou Yuan sits in Han Zhong,so I thought I'd make them both leaders,but of seperate forces as they could grow too strong otherwise. Though they're neighbours,I have to say. It would've been better if I put Xiahou Dun somewhere in the north probably.

[Gongsun Zan]

Name: A Different Three Kingdoms.

Year: 208

H/F: Fictional

Story: After Yuan Shu made Sun Ce the governer of Lujiang, Sun Ce went on to defeat many foes for his lord, gaining territory and soon became the top general in Yuan Shu's armies.  Using the seal he also declared himself Emperor in 197.  Cao Cao soon earned the wrath of Yuan Shu after he defeated and executed his ally Lü Bu.  Yuan Shu soon fell ill and died in 199 leaving the empire to his son Yuan Yao.  Honoring the late alliance his father had with Lü Bu, Yuan Yao allied with Yuan Shao in the Battle of Guandu.  Cao Cao suffered a massive defeat at the hands of the combined armies.  Most of Cao Cao's generals were killed and Cao Cao himself was executed and his family was exterminated at the end.  Emperor Xian thus came under the care of Yuan Shao.  In 202, Yuan Shao listened to a couple of his advisors and soon forced the Emperor to abdicate the throne.  Yuan Shao than claimed to be the rightful Emperor in the land.  The alliance between the cousins was now over.  After persuasion from from his advisors and support from another of the Imperial lineage, Liu Zhang, Liu Biao soon proclaimed himself Emperor of the Han Dynasty, saying Yuan Shao's actions were despicable and unfounded.  

Thus the Three Kingdoms were formed in the year 202 AD..  The Zhong Dynasty under Yuan Yao, the (insert dynasty name here) Dynasty under Yuan Shao, and the continuation of the Han Dynasty often referred to as Jing Han.

[He Xing]

NAME: The Son of the Traitor and the warlords of men

Year: 193

H/F: Fictional (i suppose that means you can have created officers)

Story: The coalition to destroy Dong Zhuo ended in failure. in the end though Dong was assassinated and the son of Zhuo Dong Wang came into power. he was the only one to survive from Lu Bu. in his fathers land he prepared for Liang and eventually Si Li and Ba Shu. in the north however after the coalition Yuan Shao returned  to the north and captured Ye. Gongsun Zan who had conquered Gongsun Du and gained a strong foothold in his region of the north. was outraged and forced himself down into the province of Ji. here they engaged in a large battle at Nan Pi and here defeated his long time rival Yuan Shao. Yuan Shao was executed as well as his family. also he absorbed most of Yuan Shao's force. Except for the prodigy child Yuan Song and a few of his fathers loyal officers who managed to escape they set up base in Ping Yuan and Bei Hai and quickly became ally's with Liu Bei and started to prepare for war with Gongsun Zan. Meanwhile the wander Lu Bu quickly moved into the Bing province and formed a small kingdom in the province of Bing where he was preparing to fight off both Gongsun Zan and He Xing in Si Li. He Xing (son of He Jin) after the end of the coalition stayed in Luo Yang and captured Si Li with a number of trusted friends and officers. Here he prepared to fight with Dong Wang and capture Chang An so he could free the Emperor and support him. meanwhile Cao Cao who after the coalition quickly captured Yan and Yu provinces moved to defeat Zhang Xiu after nearly losing his bodyguard Dian Wei and his son Cao Ang. here he prepared to capture Si Li and Xu provinces to fight with Gongsun Zan for control of the north. unfortunetley his friend Chen Gong went to Lu Bu beleiving him to be the best choice instead of serving Cao Cao.  Liu Bei on the other hand moved down into Xu from Ping Yuan after being put in charge of Xu after being requested to by Tao Qian and being put in charrge by Tao Qian. Here he defeated Yuan Shu and captured Huai Nan. also he took over the territory's of Jian Ye and Wu. Sun Ce seeing the opportunity to take Yang for the most part lost he returned to the land of his father and easily took over southern Jing (Jing Nan) and as well as Chai Sang. here Sun Ce prepared to fight his fathers killer and take over the rest of Jing. Wang Lang amongst the confusion took over Jian An and allied with Shi Xie who both prepared to fight the overwhelming threats from the north. also he absorbed most of Liu Yao's army and Yan Baihu's forces as well as recruited another few officers. Shi Xie quickly took over Nan Zhong and Jiao province after recruiting officers from the Nan province. Liu Biao in northern Jing prepared to fight both Sun Ce and Cao Cao, also he allied with Zhang Lu who had captured Yi. Zhang Lu made his move after Liu Yan's death and swiftley took over both Wu Du and Zi Tong where he soon also began to war with the ambitious Dong Wang. after wards he forced Liu Zhang to surrender and estabilished his kingdom in Yi. Ma Teng on the other hand also began to build up his strength to start war with Dong Wang.

NAME: The Wayward One-Eye

Year: 202

H/F: Fictional

Story: The mighty force that was Cao Cao has crumbled. Zhang Xiu killed Cao Cao and took the city of Xu Chang. Meanwhile, Yuan Shao advanced and won at Guan Du, while Ma Teng attacked and took Chang An. An oppertunity for survival came in the shape of Liu Bei, who promised to smooth things over with Yuan Shao if Cao Pi pledged to be a vassal of Liu Bei, and surrendered some officers.

This was an insult to the memory of Cao Cao. Xiahou Dun rallied the remaining men who dared to stand and fight in the name of the emperor. With the likes of Zhang Liao, Cao Ren, Xu Huang and Dian Wei, Xiahou Dun set up in Luo Yang. Here he was joined by the recently displaced Zhao Yun, who wished to serve the emperor, and not a man claiming to have his interests at heart.

At this time, Liu Zhang pushed out to Han Zhong, and Zhang Lu and his officers fled to Xi Liang to join the now famous Ma Teng.

Meanwhile, in Wu, sick of the pointless fighting and lack of progress made by his older brother, Sun Quan gathered some men and rebelled in Chai Sang, saying he could easily defeat both Liu Biao and Sun Ce.

I created this scenario yesterday with Van's editor. It's the first "scenario" (actually it's only an edited savegame) that actually works for me and doesn't crash after 1 year...

Name: Chaos in Chang An

Year: 192/6/1

H/F: Historical

Story:
After the coalition against him had failed,Dong Zhuo began to abuse even more of his power. However,it didn't take long until resistance was formed in the court. The minister Wang Yun used his daughter Diao Chan to trick Dong Zhuo and his adoptive son Lu Bu. This led to the death of Dong Zhuo at the hands of Lu Bu. Wang Yun and Lu Bu seized Chang An,however,there was not much time to rejoice. Li Jue took over the remnants of Dong Zhuo's army and prepared to march against Lu Bu,in order to recapture Chang An and Emperor Xian.
Meanwhile,the prefect of Chang Sha,Sun Jian,was killed by Liu Biao,the governor of Jingzhou. His son Sun Ce took his forces and fled to Yuan Shu. Yuan Shu saw the anger in Sun Ce,so he ordered him to occupy Xin Ye and to prepare for war against Liu Biao. With this,Yuan Shu was able to concentrate on Zhongyuan.
But the other warlords were not lazy. Yuan Shao betrayed Han Fu and captured Jizhou,Cao Cao defeated Liu Dai and captured Yanzhou,Liu Yong (Yao) became governor of Yangzhou. Who would put an end to this chaos?

Originally,I wanted to leave Kong Zhou's force in Ru Nan. Sun Ce and his officers should serve Yuan Shu. But I decided to make Sun Ce an own force,and as you can't create new forces with Van's editor,I had to replace one,like I did with the other new forces (Lu Bu replaced Han Fu,Liu Yong replaced Kong Zhou and Wang Lang replaced Liu Dai. At first,Liu Yong replaced Sun Jian,but I changed this). Cai Bao and Shi Xie are created characters,so I created the forces in the game.

You should have had him serving Shu... He wasn't even partially independent until well after he conquered Jiang Dong.

But other than that I'm impressed.
