Oooohhh, Noooo! It's Lubu!

The biggest baddest SOB, Lubu. The toughest character in the DW series. So hard, you probably fought him after you beat the game, or kept your distance while you slowly drain his life with some measly arrows. What is your toughest encounter with Lubu in the series?

My toughest battle with him was I believe DW5 for the PS2. I was playing with Xiahou Dun campaign mode. His 2nd or 3rd map was impossible for me. The main general of the enemy camp was Lubu, he was the dude I had to defeat to move on. This is only the beginning of the game, and I have to fight this immortal human. At the same time, Diao Chan was on my  the whole time. If I had beaten her up(which I did the first time), it would enrage Lubu and just make it super difficult.

I think I ended up running away from him back and forward charging my musou until I killed him.

DW2 Hu lao gate has is where my hardest battles with Lu bu have been. I think they have slowly made him a little easier to defeat now, on dw2 you could have 8 officers and your self ad it would still take over 10 mins to beat him.

DW4 I belive in the battle of Hu Lao Gate where he could be avoided and you had to kill Dong Zhuo but ignoring him was still tough as nails.

DW2 Hu lao gate has is where my hardest battles with Lu bu have been. I think they have slowly made him a little easier to defeat now, on dw2 you could have 8 officers and your self ad it would still take over 10 mins to beat him.

Oh yeah,I remember those times,I was just about to kill him and then - bam,some idiot threw him on the ground and he got full life again.
Every new DW I played,I thought I could beat him (DW5 because I knew whom I was goint to face,DW6 because of attacking him all the time) and I always got killed.

on DW6 all i do is charge attacks on him since he will try to block them all the time

OMG YESS lol that was terrible i freakin hated that so much. You would run past him and keep going but he would follow you and you would have mobs of ppl then officers like zhang liao diao chan i forget someone always waits for u on the other gate i always got killed there it sucked.

when lu bu was tailing me on DW4 i ran to the three brothers since they are pretty strong, but zhang fe and liu bei died so guan yu was my only hope lol, yet later.... he got owned by lu bu.....

I do agree with you all, Lu Bu is extremely hard to defeat, but I also think the final battle against Meng Huo on DW3 was hard, he was surrounded by dozens of troops and it's also hard to take out the gate captain and archers while he was constantly after you.

It would have to be Lu Bu at Hu Lao Gate on Dynasty Warriors 4, especially if you chose to duel him. One mistake and it was all over.

Honourable mention goes to Jiang Wei at Bai Di Castle on Dynasty Warriors 5. The name escapes me, but I recall he had those large arrow shooters behind him, which were a huge pain, as well as a large group of troops, and his stats were boosted considerably.

Lu bu or cao cao, hell any LEADER on dynasty warriors 2 on hard mode will murder you if you go alone.

Lu Bu in Dynasty warriors 6 is really hard to beat. Even in easy mode.

Not as bad as dueling him on DW4. Besides, he's hard on every game.
