I'm just curious if they can be used, unlike the PS2 version of Warriors Orochi 1... if they had changed that in the PSP version.

I believe. No. Cause the Left and right arrow keys are for changing characters, I forgot the function of The up and down arrow keys

cuz when i bought the game i thought also the up and down keys were functional but they were not

Ok here it is the whole controls for WO in PSP

L - Center Camera
R - Musou Attack
Up and Down - Zoom in or out of the map
Left and Right - Change Characters
X - Jump
Square - Normal Attack
Triangle - Charge Attack
O - Musou Special
Start - Pause
Select - To be able to play 2P Mode in Story or Free mode (Press when in the Preparations)

Others:

Start and select together - Return to the Main Menu (While in battle)
