What if we could add natural elements to the weapons and shields themselves, such as Fire, Ice, Lightning, Wind, Rock, Ground, as in Dynasty Warriors 6 and Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires, would that be so fun to watch your foes getting stunned, frozen, burned, blown away, shaken off, or swallowed up?  Cheesy Grin Cool Evil laugh

Thanks, bye!  Wink

eeh dont think that will work =/ this is gundam after all even so it dynasty warrior game, there all ready skill similar (well not completly) like that can make enemy or make your weapon stronger

Yeah I'd throw the game out the window if I see a BEAM Saber freeze someone, if anything impulse should stun MS with enough attacks. But the funny the funny thing is someone mentioned this before, and I told him how that should be for the original DW exclusive only. laugh

Yeah that post got me going, but I wonder what they mean by that official mode crossover thing from the first game though.

Yeah, but than again u get a part from beting an MS on both games so there's not much of a difference, but I duunno its best to just wait and see this late in the game, koei will do DWG3 justice I'm sure.

Better animation when clashing seems sweet Cheesy (Move not just stand), I'm bored with just simple clashing

Maybe in addition to being able to do partial damage to MS, and the on screen command sequences, MS would be partially damage via pressing the on screen buttons, that way Quattro's fight in Gryps would leave him damaged and debatably until he can find some armor, but definatly by returning to the Argama.

First off, I signed up just to post this. And I'm going to be honest here, Ive only barely skimmed the last 9 pages of ideas. Most of which I enjoyed, others not so much. Not too far back I had myself a few drinks and really sat down and decided I needed to write down what i really wanted in a Gundam Dynasty Warriors 3 game. Well earlier I found it and decided I should voice my opinion somewhere and I suppose this will be the best place since I cannot send it directly to Koei.

There is plenty to love about this game, though it is a hack and slash, you can find many ways to overcome the repetitiveness of this game on you own. Learn the combos and when to apply them, don't just jab your thumbs over every button at once. This alone will further extend anybodys love for the game, but face it we're not in love with all of it.

Choosing Co-pilots: So much work goes into building a relationship with other pilots in mission mode, agreed? Then what happens? You get screwed by having to fight them in the next 10x missions. So what was the point? What if you could choose your co-pilots in a mission? Keep the relationship. Stick to some theme so that it isnt so unforgiving.

Drones: What makes a great hack and slash? 1000x kills! But its to easy to get bored with, i recognize this. The real fun comes from taking out other ace pilots at that point. The next guy looks the same as the last? The "Drones" we will call them just reference them all. #1 They all come running out off the showroom floor all polished and buffed in the middle of war? How about they're all in various conditions of well being. Some barely running, some brand new? just a thought. #2. Slightly customize them to vary from 20 behind them.

Man I fall down A LOT: I'm not complaining about falling down, but after landing on all those buildings and in all that sand so many times, that polished paint job should tarnish a bit. All I wrote down in my drunken stupor was "gundams dirty throughout mission".

Just How Big?: Too often throughout game play I forget that im as tall as a 8 story building. Give us some more comparison scenery too make it feel like we're really so tall. Scenery that does exist could be improved. run into a building, it damages? Step on a tank and it has that little explosion?

The Dead Vanish: Let a fallen gundam lie! You destroy so many mobile suits,  lame explosion, leave all the downed suits lie where they fall throughout a mission.

Direction Keys: They arent even used in the game. But why not? Push up and BAM you have a beam saber. Left and OH! A BAZOOKA!? Thats right. Right?  Push right and oh im utilizing my funnel. Basically the idea is you can switch weapons with the direction keys to open up way more combos.

SURROUND SOUND!: The game sounds its best loud. But I must say that sometimes the battle just sounds kind of lame for 200+ mobile suits to be locked in battle. Lets make the war zone sound like it.

The Soundtrack: This has already been posted fo sho. But I agree with using the music from the series on the game.

WE FORGOT SOMEBODY???: As everybody has said... We need the 8th MS team! 00! Crossbone Gundam! Gundam Astray! We all know who is missing! You cant hide them from us for forever! jk. but no, really. We need them. The rest of the boys from Wing. AND THE ENDLESS WALTZ SUITS, I MUST ADD. All the guys from seed! Duel & Buster gundam! I dont need to post a list. You got this.

Whoa! PS3 has internet!: I loved the down-loadable content! More!!! MORE!!!

Oh No He Didnt: Heres an example. The Endless Waltz Mission in DWG2, you cant use such a heavy title like that then make the mission nothing similar.

2 player: OH MY GOD I CANT SEE ANYTHING!!!!! I fully 100% believe all split screens should be horizontal. Seriously. Cant see anything.

Combos: To tie it all together, there does need to be more combos. Its way too repetitive. Its just a common knowledge fact. Its accepted before purchase. We complain, but we still love. Look at the game Bayonetta for example, same buttons for combos and there are thousands of moves to do! Just make L1 the Boosters, and R1 the gun trigger? Endless ideas for improvement.

I must acknowledge I love where the Acquired Parts is going in the game, its fantastic! And the whole License idea is brilliant! Ive thoroughly enjoyed that part of the game! Skills are awesome! Love it!

We need way more levels for our characters, gundams, parts, and more skills!

You have two great things going for you here, Koie. Im 21 and id like to assume most others on here are as well, give or take. We ALL grew up playing Dynasty Warrior games AND watching Gundam Wing on Cartoon Network all those years ago. We all remember that, and we all know its true. So fans will be fans!

A lot of valid things u suggested I'd have to say, the characters I have a feeling we'll be pleased about, DLC hopefully. I agree with the title dilemma but I guess they used it because it was the last battle, but the screen should totally be horizontal, but at the same time should be able to be changed to vertical via the options menu just in case. police

Combos yeah we could use more, but I'd be happy with 2 more air combos, and using the directional buttons to change weapons could open up more combo's like the Gundam hammer for Turn A and RX-78-2 and perhaps either L3 and the control pad can be used to order others (of course you would have to press L3 1st).

I agree with the paint tarnishing after you fall and the damage to buildings as well, and I wouldn't mind seeing a 1 armed Zaku. XD

And Finally yes the Magellan and other Tanks better blow up especially if they are made into units, along with cars, and etc, but seeing tiny ant looking people running around the city maps would be awesome.

Well thank you very much. keep in mind i wrote all that down in about 20 minutes while hammered. So if I can think of all that, they can really improve the game.
