so the vocation does matter also yeah about that event with the monks attacking the capital how to you suppress them

I've had that even happen several times where in the monks get peed off and descend their mountain.  But when I started the game with the "Fictional Events" on, I meet a mysterious monk early on.  Nothing apparent becomes of it until this event.  Then this mysterious monk is able to quell the rebellion all by himself.  Hope that helps.

Yep that's the character.  It would seem that his only purpose in the game is to quell that rebellion.  You will encounter him when your home fief is sufficiently developed and only if you set the Fictional Events to "on". 
To answer the initial question of this thread, I have never seen two "large" structures in any fully developed plot.  I've only seen one Dojo in the case of Complexes or one Large Buddha in Shrines and only one Hongangi.

ok since the ? Goes back a bit, why I asked was there are more than 1 in the 70/82 times at least great buddas/shrines honganjis. I was hoping the game would let me do it on my own. After 100's of attempts in various fiefs I can't.

Ah, I stand corrected about the "fictional events" only clause.

i have seen that monk appear to all diamyo. Usually before ya get 4 fiefs. Never had a riot an officer rebel but i play on normal.

as the Kakizaki i just receive it when i finish or about to finish completely developing my one and only castle

For me it's a side effect of playing all the diamyo. I see him when I save then advance the turn to see who went up in skills.

so if you are playing as all the daimyo do you notice him appear to other daimyos or just one

oh I think every diamyo has seen the mystery monk. See when any diamyo is attacking or educating, I save at the end of thier turn. I then advance to the next turn see who went up in skills. Then I quit then load move folks if I need to, save again then autoplay to the next diamyo I wish to play. So really the monk didn't appear.

Were you asking if the monk could appear to every diamyo in the same game? I don't see why not if played each diamyo for a few turns to get the monk to appear then switched to another diamyo. I really can't do that,would cause toooooo many problems.
