I am curious if any players find that they are not challenged by playing on chaos mode. In my case, I find little challenge in the game. I love the game but if they come out with a 3rd installment, I would like to have a difficulty that can challenge my maxed officers. What are your thoughts?

I completely agree. Sometimes I wonder why tier lists are made for this game, because all characters (maxed with strongest weapons and abilities) can wreak enough havoc to all be considered Gods, imo.

I loved the difficulty of Chaos in DW6. Getting hit had big consequences, and your Musou would have to be used when you desperately needed it. Evading also became a key player in it.

maybe koei should add a difficulty called godly or gory. this time the enemy soldiers will attack more often and if they start to hit u its constant hits. damage should also be stronger for enemies. defense should be stronger for the enemies as if almighty will just help a little moderate but not as helpful in chaos. most officers has top defense and resistant againts to any weapon attributes ( flash, ice, flame etc..).

Maxed and mastered characters still show enough measurable differences in offensive efficiency - especially with regard to tougher scenarios (officers in crowds, officer pileups, etc.) - that they can be divided into sensible tiers based on observations of their solo performance vs. the most challenging scenarios in the game. A maxed Yoshimoto Imagawa may seem godly powerful in someone's opinion, and he no longer has the survival issues that he did in WO. Still, he can't match the destruction of a maxed Cao Ren or Huang Zhong, whose early, high-coverage -ex charges enable them to crowd clear like nobody's business, decimate officer pileups, and one-shot any officer including Orochi X.

Koei did it right in DW6 with the difficulties. DW2 also had a very entertaining Hard mode. In WO2 I often pick a low level character and hit up a final stage on chaos just to get a bit of a challenge. When I use my maxed team I get bored...Need some more end-game content on the next one.

I think they should put a Super Hard difficult for the skillful people that has maxed characters that destroys everybody. For me, though, it makes no difference, because at the point of the game that I am, my best team is: Sun Wukong (lvl64), Toshiie Maeda (lvl69) and Yoshitsune Minamoto (lvl51). Then, it doesn't matter if it's Chaos or Hard, or Superhyperultramegakickingassgorygreatgodofwardemonic Evil Hard , I just want to level up my characters and max the out. That's my opinion.

When I was leveling up characters, I still couldn't find a challenge. Once I hit 30ish chaos became simple. Whats the point of leveling up when you are already a god at such a low level? Why should I keep playing the game? Oh well, despite my complaining I leveled many characters up to 99. But without difficulty, there isn't a whole lot of replay value. Unlocking all dream stages is tedious, not challenging. KOEI really needs to look at end game content for players.

i think the AI is good on chaos...just they need to attack way more often like they did in DW3...we dont want it to be too hard now. and maybe the officers and high ranking peons should have elemental attacks too...then that way they might provide more of a challenge to players

Somewhat, actually it was pretty fair since everyone got nerfed I can't imagine myself trying playing WO1Chaos with WO2 versions of Hanzo and Zhou Tai.

Roght...WO2 easy than WO1.....When you have found 4th weapons and added Almighty for them....Your character will be very strong...

And the Treasure can be found easily than the unique item in WO1

Personally I think the AI while still lacking compared to DW3 and 4XLs hardest difficulties, is better than WO1; more aggression is better than just extreme damage. If they were to make Warriors Orochi 3, they should use the  DW:Strikeforce AI or something better, another interesting thing would be to mirror your characters weapon properties and let the AI have them say your Orochi X has an Almighty weapon with evasion, resurrection, slay +10, bolt +10, bravery +10, might +10, flash +10 and so forth.

I don't like challenge personally, especially one that requires being an elite to beat. However OW2 was a little easy, which was ... nice Cheesy it's kind of like a freestyle form of Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors to test out characters you never could get the highest weapons for in their original games Smiley and of course, demon slaying!! >=) I wish they had built in the custom character system in this game however like in DW4, I would have liked that...

OROCHI FTW with his triangle move!!

If you have Almighty on the game is incredibly easy... and MORE easier when Orochi X is unlocked...... But if you dont use any power ups Attributes (Aglity)
and use a lv 1 base weapon no power ups or Attributes... Then its hard but My friend SanadaDragon Thinks its easy stilll

P.S to tell you the truth he plays Koei games way to much (hahaha)....

Is that so Fu Bu...? Well I will say that the difficultly of the game eventually dies down. Especially you get your hands on the Almighty Skill. But knowing this, is the reason why I have made two different weapons for each character. One with Almighty, and one without it. The challenge is somewhat there. Especially if you play Warriors Orochi Two like I play it.

Which consists of Keeping all of your allies safe and if one dies then I start the stage all over again. Got to keep your allies alive. There lies the challenge... Somewhat... Tongue
