I am trying to get an idea of what this game is about, but all the reviews don't tell me a lot.  Is this game like Extreme Mode from the older games?  I am excited it will be on PS3, and want to know if it would be worth trying.

I'm somewhat iffy on her inclusion. Yeah, it's nice that they added a new character, playable or not, but this decreases the time in which KOEI/Famitsu has to announce if Pang De's been added. And I'd much rather see him than Cai Wenji. Least we're getting another Wei female.

Jump's another magazine that announces and shows news of games even though they are for manga. There isn't really any need to wait for Famitsu to announce things since we also have Jump as a source.

You will notice Da Qiao in 3 screen shots. It seems that she's fully a magic user. The first screen shot with her in it, you see a magic circle, not so much for the other two, but we get to know that she definitely does use magic.

[Update about the three screen shots referring to Da Qiao] I just wanted to make you aware that there's another new feature that is referenced with the screen shots (this information comes from BlackKite): it is a "Support Skill" where a player can heal another in-game.

Apparently, in two days (at least in Japanese time), there should be a demo (or more than one demo) being released by KOEI of this game. What this demo will have and who will be playable are still up-in-the-air, but it should be released on Thursday.

The demo coming out in a couple days will be the same one as the one that was shown at the Jump Festa 2010 event in Japan late last month, most likely, since it's the "first edition" demo.

Yes, but that may not be the one being released at this time, it could be something totally different. We will have to wait a bit to find out what is really in the demo. That is the most likely released demo, but there's a chance that KOEI could have changed it (to include Wenji).
