They would have been gone by the time 2008 rolled around, but scholar said here that they were gone before he joined in March '07, and one post below that, Sky said they were around when he joined in August '06, but not for long.

Yeah, haven't felt up to checking these places as often as I use to. Really the only thing that would bring me back for a long period of time would be a new RoTK. Its nice to still see you around Scholar, you're at least a nice constant reminder of the good times around here.

I wonder if they ever will make RotKXIII. But with the new scenarios for 11 being made in the PC section there is always something to do.

To echo scholar, it is a pleasure to see you again Guardian. I remember your posts in Nick's future DW characters thread back about a year ago wasn't it? That thread has moved on a lot since then, so you'd have a heck of a lot to catch up on.

I hope they do, the RoTK games have always been my main attraction to Koei games. Without them...I think I'd cry.

One of the old veterans from 2006. He was active here till about 2008, then he disappeared for a while and showed up a few times in 2009 and maybe in January 2010. This is the first time I've seen him post in months.

I come back here because only few people I know like DW. My Roomate quit playing their games, thanks to New Family of his/Married etc...lol He mostly sticksto MW2, I play more social Games like Gears of War, Team Fortress 2, and other MP games lately. And I play Oblivion more because of it's Single Player Replay Value.

Yeah, scholar pretty much summed me up pretty well. I was around for a few months even before the site had the "great update" in late 05 too. I use to hang around the Three Kingdom history and RoTK boards. As I said before, I'd pop up more if a new RoTK game was announced.

What was the "great update" was it a time when great men of old came together to overthrow the evil CAMEL MAN OF THE 76 DIMENSION. BUM BA BUM BUM DAAAAA (Peals of lightning everywhere, huge thunder cracks that burst windows.)

Or was it just a update of a old system that was getting to old to be useful.

Scholar tried to conquer the world with Kong Zhou. I don't know how that ended up but I found it very interesting.

I commanded the left wing of the Army of Nick in the final charge against CAMEL MAN...yeah it was pretty epic.

But yeah the "Great Update" was just when they changed the format of the forum and had to redo the whole system. Everybody had to rejoin with a clean slate and all that. I had only been around a couple months before it happened.
