o i see why you're doing this then.

but it's too troublesome for my taste lol.

and on it, the otomo are decent, not too powerful, nor too weak. and you can increase your fame by using the seige tech tree. then i highly recommend you raze them and research infantry.

also get the kono to teach you the naval techs first, then ask for the other clan iso [i think. i forgot their name] to help with their bow techs. do this because you'll need to act as backup for kono for the first year or two to not lose fame because of their constant requests to help them against the chocokabe & akechi alliance.

i managed to hold off and only lose 1 request of them. i attacked the choso akechi as they attacked the kono castle delivered decent damage, destroyed 2 units, captured and executed mitsuhide and left since the castle still had a good number of men and my armies were almost down to 1k soldier

then i helped fend the alliance again from the port.

and once my alliance with kono was over, i let the choso take over them while i waited RIGHT NEXT TO THE PORT then took it. i had a decent amount of men on my 2 naval units and the port had no defence, it was ruined, so the men were doomed there.

then i took the ouchi after they allied with shibata. the shibata became the strongest in kyuushu after defeating ryuzaji and the clan next to it, arima i think.

they even took over my allies to my west [the ones that taught me the bow techs]

then i plainly allied with the iso [to the south of my starting castle] and fend repeated assaults from shibata. and when i had the chance, i took the saionji [spell?] and now planing to take over either choso [once their alliance ended they became bitter enemies] or shibata [incredibly weakened now. but they managed to take out another clan!!] or ito [my current allies who are south to my starting castle and my alliance with them is about to end]

the ichijo got a decent amount of men, above 30k and my castle in shikuku got a mere 18k with another 9k at the port.

and to be completly honest, i created several characters, and even created some for ouchi [which i immediately recruited once i took over since they were above average] i got toshiie in prison and gonna recruit him soon!!

the shimazu are keeping the shibata in a corner.

me and the mouri wiped out the ukita.

hojo took out the imagawa.

sanda&takeda still in their places trying to see who will take his 2nd city first among themselves.

you know. i could write a story out of this.... i was planing to write a sengoku story anyways... i already have a story about after sekigahara... but all for after exams x_x i can't concentrate on writing when i'm stressed...

anyways. to sum it all.

the otomo are decent. but when they take over kyushu and absorb the officers there. they become formidable. i even created a genchiyo XD

maybe gracia as well @_@ and goemon... i didn't make him in the game <_< and i deleted him. so ima need his states.. can someone tell me?

his states, starting city, abilities, skills, voice, vocation and such

i can't find this out myself because i already have a full roaster of 100 OC!! and i don't want to delete a bunch of them... i just wanna edit some... so any help is more than appreciated...

 It would seem i've found a underhand diamyo. A rather pleasant change. Most folks don't play that way. My test run in it was as the suzuki. Changed a bunch of real officers stats it was comical. Everone was leaving thier diamyo. Anyway if you leave me that officers full name and the year you think he shows up, i'll try to get his info for ya.

i know he's a bonus officer, but as i said i created all 100 officers, and will delete one to add him instead. so i need someone to help me find his states. thanks in advance

any female/male officers that aren't in the game that should be added? maybe that tachibana guy from sw3 ... i forgot his name, but there is a tachibana guy with the otomo plus dousetsu, so there are 2 tachibana characters, and i'm not sure if that tachibana dude from sw3 is the other tachibana guy in the game... gotta check later on.

any ideas on characters though? i mostly create randomly sons for daimyos or specific generals. like created 6 for hideyoshi [males and females] 5 for miyoshi, 4 for oda, 3 for sanada, 2 for takeda, 3 for uesugi, 5 for date, 2 for mogami, 1 for hatano, 3 for chosokabe, 4 for shimazu, 2 for ryuzaji, 4 for mouri... the list goes on <_< ...

Hey Lonewolf sorry for the late reply but man do i like playing this game with anybody from the north such as the kakizaki, Tozawa, Nanbu, Date, Shiba. All of the except for Anto, Oura.

Right now i am playing this game as the Tozawa.

to mitsurugi man do you like an underdog!  Unless maybe ur playin the 1582 phase. Moriyasu looks ok. Terumichi is kinda ok. Why not the anto? I stick with the central honshu  or kyshu clans.

to athrun. I believe you mean muneshige tachibana. He marries doesetsu's daughter. He was born in 1566. Thats if the game info is right. His father was shigetane takahashi. As for skills spear/ sword folks with demolish taunt/confuse block n rampage. I don't have enough exp with iron triangle to guess about skills.   why suzuki lots of guns, volley 3 decent leadership. In i t i beat back 4 miyoshi attacks in 1 yr losing 2000 men they lost almost 30000. The suzuki were a fav of mine in the snes version of the game. I n current rtp game shige-man (shigeoki) works for the oda. With a +4 title on his lead is 91. Played the suzuki had shige with a high end title and a lead of 105 if memory serves. He crushed everyone.

Yeah i do kind of like the underdog, it is just the thought of starting out as a poor clan and to see your clan rise to power.

I kind of like the anto for some odd reason i cannot explain, but to choose them i would rather pass.

to mits.  Not sure what you mean by playing both sides. This monster game i'm running now playin most of the diamyo is me fed up at the game ai not being able to build up fiefs decently.  I am so tired of taking fief after fief with only halls n a few towers. Booorring... Also the game does nothing to develope officers. Some guys can really improve! I have guys working for both oda n miyoshi that have gone up 10-15 pts or more in pol skill.  I won't brag about what fiefs look like because i'm using mostly hyper smart +100 pol mostly to build. But its gonna be a challenge an hopefully fun and also be more rewarding to my officers in terms of deeds n better chances for skills to go up. Oh i've never played the 82 phase. N ya i kinda like underdogs too. It was fun taking the suzuki clan from chumps to champs. I can't wait to turn shigeoki loose on takeda.  If i went i n the wrong direction with this reply feel free to point me in the right one.

Dude that sounds interesting. No what i meant from fighting from both sides i meant you like playing in the middle of the map so you are bound to fend of from both sides.

ok don't get me wrong cause if i'd been working for a diamyo it'd be oda. But the real reason i'm doing this is to mess up the game ai. Play the 1551 phase. Somebody not in the center of honsu.  The asakura knock off everone but azai n shiba. The shiba take out the nagano n kitabatake. At some point ashikaga kills off the hatano tsutsui n usually the isshiki then takes mt shigi then saika. Oda miyoshi n all the rest do nothing. This happens in about 4 or 5 yrs. I really got into playing the shimazu. Take control of kyshu build lots of  castles n lots of guns. Dare anybody to attack you. Trouble was noone would. I had 10,000 men or more in every fief. To keep it short by mid 1557 i had 38 fiefs n 300,000+ men nobody else had more than 50. Was kinda silly  so i stoped. About holding teas hunts poetry readings i'm real big on it.. Heres a couple excamples. Stole nobuchika kita from the nambu. He starts at 75 pol 68 lea. He is 79 73 now. Takamasu ozeki 74/62 now 78/70. Kazumasu takigawa 40/82 now 50/83.

ah first sorry  i tend to change trains of thought without saying so. What i was trying to say was this. I get real into educating my officers. I try to get as many as possible to become 4 order offs. I am also a thief, stealing decent officers from diamyo when those diamyo seem to be ignoring that officer.(that might be for another discussion). Anyway kita ozeki naoie ukita akihaya usuki n several others all work for the oda, and are pet projects in this game. I'm doing this with all the diamyo. I'd love to talk about this, officer preformance ect. We had a thread about this back when the game came out.

Oh yeah that's also what i like to do to educate my officers for if i start as an underdog i am bound to have some untalented officers.

ok some background. I'm playin most of the diamyo in one game. I have used a number of factors including past games to get certain officers to join specific diamyo using the betray command. For instance kita, has lower led. than many other of the nambu officers. In another game where i was playin the shimazu kita has gained 40 deeds in 7 yrs. Now oda has shibata but he with his low iq is easy to confuse or taunt. I got kita to join the oda, so i would have a decent charge guy when i face the takeda. I have moved a ton of officers around. Built up many so so's. I'm trying to ballence out the roosters of many diamyo to make my game more challenging. Be happy to provide more info if ya want.
