To be honest I'm not sure. The way I would work at it was choose a song, have whomever can contribute to the song claim and instrument, then have someone make a video more or less directing us (or even just a video keeping us all at the same beat), then have each of us make our own individual videos doing each of our parts on our instruments, and finally having someone with good editing skills take all the videos' audio and combining them into one audio that is hopefully in meter.

That or have the drummer record first. Then send his audio to the lead guitarist, rhythm guitarest, piano/keyboard player, and bass player. The four of them make their own recordings. Then have someone take their four recordings and the drummer's audio all into one. Pass the audio of the five of them to the vocalist(s) (possibly adding in other percussion in here as well) and have them sing(or play if its additional instruments) to the combined audio. Finally have someone put the vocals and the instrumental audio together and we have a finished product.

Ok, I am going to make a new list of whom would like to play what. I will PM all the members that had posted interested in performing before.

It would be cool if we could pull it off. The hardest thing is to keep this going and to finish the project. I suggest we not attempt an original song for the first song.

That and we need someone who is good at audio editing.

As for a band name.....I've got nothing. I couldn't even name the band I started, I had to wait until I put it together to get suggestions.

I can play a bit og piano, although my chords realy need some serouis work. It's to bad i cant even practice anymore, my brother spilled juice on the keyboard and it wont work anymore .

I'll volunteer for guitar, lead or rhythm works for me. May as well put me at rhythm for now.

I don't really have any songs to suggest. Nothing too strenuous though, please!

I say for whom the bell tolls by metallica. I can be lead guitar. It's easy to play, has a slow rhythm, and a good song to warm up our skills and get some chemistry as a band. Put me up for lead if you don't already have one. If anyone needs help with their part, we could help each other. As for names......it depends on our style. Metal? Classic? Alternative? Once a style is picked names won't be as hard. So what kind of band is it?

If I am the vocalist I am not really a heavy metal type of tone... Not screamo at all. I would like to be more of an alternative sound with a influence of metal.

But this is up to all who are involved, not just me.

The two songs that you suggested are good. I had heard the one by A Perfect Circle before. I think if the group voted to do those two I could do it (vocally), although Forsaker would be the easier of your two for me. If there is demand for any song I will try it.

As for the Metallica, i could do it... but I don't know how good it would sound. He has a hard voice to replicate.

We are still in need of an editor, a drummer, someone to play the keyboard, and a band name.

Paige, you had said you wished to join in on this again, which role would you be willing to take up? (if you want to be a guitarist that's fine, we can alternate parts of the song or songs that you are playing)

I can play keyboard if y'all need me to, but i'm not as good as others you may find. I can't play by ear on keyboard either, so I'd have to find music for whatever song we do. But I'm willing to do it if neccessary.

As far as the songs KOBS, both are fairly easy for me, but I'm not sure of others opinions on that.
