Who do you think is most likely(if anyone) in the upcoming Samurai Warriors game? Not do who you want cut, who do you honestly think might not make it. I personnally like most of you would hate to have any characters cut but if some are cut here are my predictions. And by the way, put who you think LIKELY, not who you want, and try to explain it, not "__________ sucks". And no bashing others for their honest opinions, you can ask why but be polite. Anywoo, here's my predictions

I really hate this prediction- Kojiro Sasaki- He didn't do much besides interact with Musashi in his Musou, and vice versa, I sadly don't think he will make it. (Not to say it can't be done, I made a story for his in my make a story mode thread: http://www.koei.com/community/index.php?topic=11575.0)

Next: Yoshimoto Imagawa- In the time frame of Samurai warriors all he did was  get killed by Nobunaga Oda, so I don't think him likely.

Gracia- I can't really explain this one very well mostly a gut feeling. I don't own the game, but from what I know in SW2: XL, her musou mode was fairly weird, and it doesn't seem to me to fit in. That's just my 2 cents.

Okuni- Was all but cut in SW2, They couldn't make a story for her, and while the same applies to Ranmaru Mori, she didn't participate in any battles either so I could see her not being in the next one.

Not saying all of those would be cut, not saying I want any to be cut (and I don't especially not Kojiro), but I place those characters as the most likely to be cut.

P.S. If this gets past page 2 I'm addind a poll.

I would actually like to see them revisit the Gracia storyline, because I thought the payoff in the final chapter could have been much better.  Rather than the fast forward we got that led to the Western Army acting out of character, the story should have concluded with Gracia siding with Mitsuhide at Yamazaki, unaware that Magoichi is in the opposing army.  It would be a great opportunity for massive

The most likely candidates for elimination this time round are probably Gracia, Ranmaru Mori and Okuni. Okuni and Ranmaru didn't have stories in SW2 and Gracia's was atrocious IMO.

But, if the rumors that Kunoichi is going to be returning to SW3 then I doubt any of the characters are going to be cut. Although if Nohime is cut then I'll never play SW again!

The characters that were cut in DW6 were cut due to time constraints (with their minimum historical involvement being a contributing factor). As long as Koei takes their time and makes SW3 RIGHT, then no characters should be cut.

I'd rather not tempt fate by making a topic like this, automatically assuming that cutting characters is a possibility.

I'd guess Okuni and Yoshimoto, Those two weren't in enough battles, if any, to be put in the new game IMO. However, if they could fit them in, I wouldn't mind. I actually hope they just add characters, not cut any.
Ranmaru should get a story mode again, you ended up fighting him in enough battles anyway.
I agree with the change in Gracia's story, but I'm one of the few who actually enjoyed using her style, so I hope they don't cut her.
I think that's all I have to say about cutting characters from SW3.

Kojiro Sasaki might stay and unjinx if anyone says he will be cut

I know this isn't part of the thread, but everyone's talking about Gracia's storyline.
I'm just saying that if they add Tadioki Hosokawa and that other Ukon Takayama character to the game, her musuo mode will be boss. Just saying.

I'd actually have to say that between Gracia's relation with Mitsuhide and the events around Sekigahara and her husband she has a more interesting role than some might give her credit for, it just needs to be done right.

I hate to see any characters cut but I'd have to guess that it would be the prehipheral characters who have little attatchment to others pr forces; Musashi, Kojiro and Okuni sticking out in my mind. Musashi is a cult figure though, and serving in Sekigahara ( minor role or not ) it should probably be enough to keep him there, I hope.

I agree with those. I have a feeling Musashi will stay though, he made a big enough impact with the fans and the game to warrant that. I do hope nobody gets cut, and I have to say Gracia did have a lot of wasted potential, she had enough historical information to be better than alot of the female cast.  So of the cut characters most people think: Kojiro Sasaki, Okuni,  and Yoshimoto Imagawa. I think I will add a poll at this point, just for curiousity's sake.

I would think that Kunoichi won't be making a comeback lol. Also that Okuni she should be removed along with Mushashi and Kojiro since both have nothing to do with the Warring State era of Japan. Those are the only four that should not be part of this game in my honest opinion.

On her resume it list Kunoichi in SW3 as a voice acting experience, so I'll believe that, it would be wrong to lie on a resume(incidently this is DW6 Sun Shang Xiang's voice actor too, and Kunoichi's original.) So I think she'll be back. I do think all of them likely cuts, though I like all of them save Okuni, and even she has her moment's.
