Suggestions for Koei?

First off i would love to work for them they have so much potential and already have made revolutionary games but lately it hasn't felt that way besides Disgaea 3 (10 thousand level ups....
)
The DW:Xtreme Legends series (minor add-on)
My first impression of DW:Xtreme Legends was it would be more role playing oriented and it was but its nothing more than a minor expansion for the originals so my suggestion is maybe make it more Role Playing featuring the most popular characters (Lu Bu, Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Zhou Yu etc) and put it in a extensive storyline from begining to the end of their lives.......but don't make it Turn Based that would be dreadful make it a little hack and slash but not as much maybe something that leans more towards Onimusha
DW:Empires and DW
Definitely keep both of them the same if koei really stops making the ROTK series then Empires would be the perfect game to take its place and thats obvious after each empire release it becomes closer and closer towards it.....empires really has a ton of potential if they just added Romance of the Three Kingdoms completely to it then they have such a big game that they won't even finish themselves
Kessen
Don't try too hard on this one i think the second one was near perfect but the gameplay of the first was also awesome but DW:Empires should take over the second since it would complete it more........then stick with the first
well these are just my thoughts hopefully koei will become as popular as square inc or capcom someday
Also what is Techmo doing? Its unfortunate there is no news on that

Disgaea 3 is a Square Enix game actually. What I'll chime in is Koei shouldn't stop the ROTK series becauce if they do they'll ose a lot of customers.

What is Tecmo doing? No news? What are you talking about?
Have you seen Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 that's in development?

Making strategy and the council and planning actually matter in DW empires matter.
I conquered all of China except for one Province and when i went to attack it, they somehow still managed to have the same amount of troops as me... Major turn off. Theirs no way he can have more troops then me. But apparently he did.
And as far as the the whole council goes, thats just pointless, all i did was run in, kill people, take the base, go to the main base, and kill the main leader.
Try to make Strategy apart of the game, make getting bases count and matter.
The whole morale and capturing supply bases is pointless, i just run in by myself and hack and slash everything and i win. Make supplies apart of the game, will i have enough supplies to actully come in and attack AND keep this province? How are my men getting fed?
Just saying, put more detailed strategy plans in, make the player actually think about conquering or defending a base. Make him make attack and defend plans.
Kind of like in Kessen, i would love to see the whole war council and planning that Kessen has put into a DW Empires game.

If they did that, there goes our "mindless button mashing series". Besides, there are Kessen, Dynasty Tactics, RTK, Nobunaga Ambition, Taikou Risshiden, etc that were not as brainless.
I tell you something, mindless stuffs like warriors series do sells better.

I never said get rid of it, but saying having strategy in DW6 Empires and really all their is is just more button mashing is a little deceiving.
The normal DW games are fine, but when they make a game like DW6 Empires, they should, technically, add strategy as an element of the game.
The council is pointless and annoying. It could be a little more in-depth, and the war council and policy council should be separate.
If your a officer, here is how the council goes, step 1: go inside and hear the same introduction message every time. Step 2: Get some mission to do or challenge it to some other mission that you probably have done before. Step 3: Get policy that you have no say in.
Their should at least be a strategist who will give advice on whether to attack or defend, whether or not to launch a surprise attack, or how to attack when you get into the battle. If you are a ruler, because if you don't have a strategist helping you to make decisive calls, then are you even a real Ruler? (Remember, Yuan Shao did not listen to his advisers, and look what happend at the battle of Guan Du!)
As a matter of fact, when i am playing Zhuge Liang as an officer, or i SHOULD be playing as the main strategist for my current Ruler, i would like to offer different attack and defense plans to my Lord. Not just sit there and not say anything and take a mission randomly.
Again, this element of actual strategy and planning should only be added to the Empire titles, and keep the original DW games all button mashing and no thinking.

Logical, because warriors games mostly gets translated to english along with their expansions (empires, XL). Other series are not as famous, even the CDs are hard to find in stores.
Surely there is a reason of why Koei concentrates on Warriors games so much that they bring to english market. Long time ago rtk saw its release on PC english, until the fourth one, then it stopped. Koei had many oldies that are strategy based too, nowadays mainly its button mashing that gets more popular, need I remind you that Warriors board are the most active (and messy)? Try to relate everything and you'll be able to conclude yourself.
To be honest, I truly support your opinions, but bear in mind that games are released in order to make money, not to please minority of gamers.

That is nice and all, but i will only agree with the statement when you can actually OFFICIALLY source it.
Wait, really? I thought games were released to provide entertainment and joy.
You don't even know if i am the minority. Just because people don't always don't speak their mind on some board means they don't want it. Look at this thread, only 13 posts have been made actually offering suggestions.

All above from Caopie:
most of the random council mission you proably already done and i gotta say the only stragistic thing iv seen so far is when lu xun (or something) on wu is when he did a random fire attack. the stratagist should have more options in battle or somethin

Id like to see a merger with the stratagy of Romance of the three kingdoms and the hack and slash of Dynasty warriors. Of course this game would be good on its own but if they took this game online I could see it as a best seller
