Fascinating soundtracks. Sega, make another game. Oh wait this is Koei. *runs to the Sega Company*

I loved those soundtracks as well. Smiley

Well I've recently picked up NieR and though the soundtrack doesn't have a whole lot of variety, what is there is absolutely amazing.

The soundtrack for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Video Game is probably the most fun and enjoyable soundtrack I've ever heard. Chiptune rock band Anamanaguchi lends their talent to the soundtrack's 24 original tracks, which are fast paced and cheerfully reminiscent of 8-Bit brawlers from the 80's, while at the same time being fresh and unpredictable enough to not feel outdated.

Nobunaga's Ambition 13 Tendou (Way of Heaven) has the best soundtrack I have ever heard in a game.  It is simply beautiful!

My vote goes for .Hack//Sign as my favorite and most listened to soundtrack for an anime

although I may soon be getting the soundtrack for Twelve Kingdoms so that may change soon.

Okami has one of my favourite soundtracks. I still need to hunt down a copy of the soundtrack for a decent price.

Seconded. It made playing the game that much more enjoyable. It really fit everything perfectly.
I'm also going to mention Portal. I'm not sure if it counts as part of the soundtrack, but "Still Alive" remains to be one of my absolute favorite songs from any video game. Nothing's better than a young, sweet voice telling you how you're going to die a horrible death...
