Yeah, DW6XL is most likely the next one. Musou BB probably isn't going to come into america for quite awhile.

I would like to see a DW style game set in the Bladestorm world of the 100 years war. Many think that would not work, because they state there are only two sides in that war, but they would be mistaken. While England and France were the major players, there were many areas that could be explored. France really was much smaller than the country we know today. Burgandy, Flanders, Normandy were all countries that were associated with either England or France. England had problems within thier own boundries with Wales and Scotland. There are many characters if the years before and after the 100 years were included. Papal forces, Spain, Moors, Scots, Irish, Welsh, even Germans could be included. A European style DW game, and a Empire game would really take the series in a new direction.

The use of the shield, pike formations, cavalry, archers, even a sea battle system, along with a different combo system would keep the game fresh.

...Or, just a Bladestorm with more control over your character? That seems to be what you want.

While a new Bladestorm game would be nice. I do mean a DW style game set in Medieval Europe. After all in bladestorm you control a merc.

I don't get what you mean. Are you talking about to lessen the strategy in Bladestorm, and heighten the action? Because you could just play Kingdom Under Fire.

I'm talking about a Musou mode style game set in Medieval Europe. Tons of characters each with thier own storyline.

That said Bladestorm, Kessen or Kindom Under Fire style games would also suit me fine.

BB has been "rumored" for English release for four years, and no matter what I say, it still doesn't seem like they're going to release it over here. Anyways, DW5 had Empires released before Xtreme, so I'm not surprised if they release Xtreme later this year as well, if not Spring 2010.

I wouldn't mind if they would just combine Xtreme Legends and Empires together into a RotTK-style DW game, and stop releasing two expansions per game.

Actually, I think this is a great idea. Someone mentioned as a joke a while back that the Bladestorm characters should be included in Warriors Orochi, but I sorta rolled with that idea.

I would love a Bladestorm 2 that's more like DW and SW. Playing as one mercenary who was indifferent as to the outcome of the war got rather bland after a while, and I want to explore the storylines of people like Joan of Arc and Edward more closely.
