I don't see a topic like this, so I'm posting it. What ideas do you have for this game? It can be anything! ANYTHING!!!
I'd like to see a CAG (Create a Gundam) feature in the game, where you can mix and match parts, assign colors and decals, choose/create a weapon(s) for your MS, and maybe even create a new 2D pilot.

I might be a bit of a jerk and change it to Gundam 3, since we're nigh on sure of all that's in the game ( not counting on any big surprises for the western ones ) so perhaps for the sequel is better.
I maintain my stance of wanting more G Gundam respresentation, and hopefully some 00 by the time the next one arrives.

It's cool SnS, I was thinking about changing it myself but you beat me to it.
G Gundam is one of my favorite Gundam series'. I also want them to fill in the cracks in the story by letting us play battls they had to skip or omit (if they have not already done so for DWG2).
Also, a map or battle editor (while maybe a bit far fetched) would be nice. Create and detail landscapes, add scenery, buildings, etc, position the starting points of allied and enemy units, and make a sorta "battle flow" editor that makes certain events (reinforcements, simple-to-edit movie clips like DW5E, etc) kick in after specific conditions have beem fulfilled (time reached, specific enemy defeated, etc).
This way we could create our own original battles or make battles from the anime that are not in the game

I would suggest more aerial combat, you know, like actually flying around to make combat a little more interesting. I would also like to propose a create a pilot mode too. Bandai does work in conjunction with Sunrise on the Gundam series so I think it could be possible.

More NPC pilots like liuteneants in other warriors games. Probably best to use minor character from the series so they don't get bogged down with voice overs(characters that maybe didn't have significant speaking rolls and could be justified with a generic voice). Some possibilities might be the Maginac core, or some of the Astray pilots from SEED, and maybe a few members of the Crossbones Vanguard(some of which might actually make interesting PCs so this is a tossup).
The supporting cast from 08th MS Team and War in the pocket would be good candidates too.
A couple more mobile armor bosses. Don't know how to spell it but the massive thing at the end of Formula 91 that Seabook had to fight with Iron Mask as the pilot. I think the Gogg from the original would be interesting too. I think its just big enough to count as a MA kind of like Psycho or Quin Mantha.
Also thought of a good method for battling warships. Each ship would have a nuber of target points that would have to be destroyed depending on its size or strength. A Salamis or Musai for example would only have three, Medium weight ships like White Base would have five, and massive command ships like the Gwadan would have seven.

To the Game-Developers (KOEI) and to the Producer (KOEI) :
Please add new Gundams and new Mobile Suits with the following characteristics :
1-)
Add a lot of different
Officers, enemies, Zakus, mechas, and Mobile Suits
in
many different various sizes
. (Normal, Big, Large, Very Large).
2-)
Add more big and strong and fast "Mobile Armors" Bosses (very large Gundams). Then the game would be much interesting. (Big, Large, Very Large).
3-)
Add also new enemies and bosses as a
Gundams
(flying Gundams). This
flying Gundams
should
fly
kites, and should always
attack
the character
of the air
. This is a very good innovation. Please add.
And please add the following characteristics and innovations:
1-)
The
warships
at the
Battle
should take part in the combat. The
warships
should
attack
the
character
with
laser cannons and rockets
. And the character is also the warships attack. The warships should be destroyed. But the warships should be have a good defense.
2-)
To the game "DW GUNDAM 3 please add destructible environments and add destructible big and large Houses. For example, if one is fighting in the city, it should be
the houses
and
buildings destroyed
. It should be the
houses
very
loud explosion
. The
explosions
should be
very real
. The destruction of the houses should also
look very real
.
Please add real destructions like in the game "Mercenaries 2" and like in the game "Transformers" and "Transformers 2".

The Opponents and the enemies should not stand and wait. Rather, the opponents and enemies should always and constantly attacking the character.
THIS IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT !!!

KOEI, please make the game "DW Gundam 3" with a
very good Story
and with
a lot of story videos
(like the game Metal Gear Solid 4, like the game God of War 2, like the game Devil May Cry 4).
Story is very important!
If KOEI make not a good Story, than the game "DW Gundam 3" is not interesting!
Because, if there in "DW Gundam 3" not a good Story (with a lot of Story videos) , than the european people and the american people not buy the game "DW Gundam 3" !!!

It would be nice to have a somewhat more interactive and destructable environment. Battleships are just a small part of that, destroying them indirectly just seems silly when their are other ways to do it. Have them be more interactive as well. Depending on the type of ship it might give supplies by giving units in its range a random power up or healing.
As for levels themselves, let things get demolished! They could even tie it in to some strategy. Blast a snowy mountain with your musou and get an avalanch for example. Blast open gates directly using your weapons rather than having to wait for base guards. A lot of Mobile Suits(Gundams in particular) had the firepower to destroy a colony, so let levels just get trashed.
Even reinforced walls could at least take some scarring. Anyway, looking forward to exploring the games new levels.

I was wondering what ideas anybody had for a mecha and pilot designer. If the series keeps the pilots 2d(as opposed to maybe some sort of 3d animations) how do you think it would work?
What options would you want to see for a mecha designer?
Just bored and thought I'd see if I could get some ideas flowing again.

The ideas I have are Team specials and unique team specials EX:Kamille could transform Zeta to Wave Rider form and Gundam MK II or the Hyaku Shiki could ride on top shooting at enemies(this could apply for members of the Gundam team too),Seabook has his beam rifle and cannon in F91's hands and cecily flips over and grabs F91's twin cannons on his back and they shoots back to back and the players coordinate the way they spins and shoot(of course this would be if she has the Vigna Ghina). For the normal specials they could have a selected special to be used for a neutral teammate,and dialog through the SP too Ex:come on, okay.
Than for MAs that could be expanded later I'd say the too Sea monster like MAs from Victory Gundam should be present along with the Spider MA too, like Blue Tiger said the The Reflessia should be there too, WaDom, both forms of the Destroy Gundam, and possible more forms of the dark Gundam, and etc.
