All thats a good idea but the empires games are only for the major series like dynasty warrios and samurai warriors not the game that just fuses those two together and adds a few things to it.

So how is that any different from any other DW/SW game?

Hey I'd love to see something like this. Though one problem would come from the Scenario's since in the first game Orochi's force practically owns everything and has no shortage of officers. It would also kind of feel weird to capture Orochi army generics and make them defect to a human or mystic army.

Though the possible features and possibilities of such a game overshadow those in my mind. It would just need some serious alterations from the mainstream empires games.

Hmm... good point... I guess for a Story mode then there would have to be changes to how officers are handled and captured. Orochi officers wouldn't be able to be captured or executed, but instead would fallback to the next available territory.

On that note then, troop counts would have to be adjusted since like you said, Orochi's army dominated most of the areas.

See theres to muct to change and once that happens all of the DW and SW Zing would go away.It defies all that DW and SW stand for and that is realism.

Koei needs to really add change to the game other than a couple features here or there per isntallment. Heck, they even got rid of characters in dw6 instead of adding to the whole three kingdoms story (more battles, more officers, etc...) I haven't even bothered with DW6 as from what I've seen, it really isn't worth the time and money to play the same battles with less characters. Yeah, the moves are different... for the worse. From what I could tell, there were less charge abilities for the officers that survived the next installment, which tells me that I don't have to think as much or strategize how i fight the enemy. Don't you guys think the game needs a huge change or addition of features and/or battles to keep the fire going?

Well actually the battles in DW6 were changed quite a bit. The killer was the cloned move sets and lack of Musou modes made the game feel only half complete, the  movesets changed quite a bit from previous games, they're more fluid but at the same time more stale. Also capturing a base actually feels like an accomplishment and the levels are trickier to navigate since every level's geography plays a key role in the game.

anyway back on topic I fail to see how some different rules or features would "steal the zing" away from DW or SW in a combined Orochi Empires game. I personally already thought that happened in Orochi 2 where it felt like it was the Mystics versus the Demons with the Three Kingdoms and Sengoku warriors caught in the middle, which i liked by the way as it put a interesting perspective on the game.

Also going back to not being able to recruit Orochi officers. It doesn't seem that weird because after all the defeats they suffer to the humans they apparently always have the numerical advantage in every battle. So since there is no way Orochi who in the 2nd game is reduced to being a fugitive could have that many troops (and no ability to recruit since he's in a world of humans) I suspect he just reincarnates his army after every battle.

Koei has already announced that there will be no Extreme Legends, or Empires in the Orochi series.

Not really surprising.

In fact, despite how saddened i would be by this I doubt Koei plans to take Orochi past the new cumulative Orochi Z game (or Warriors Orochi the collective as I believe it's english name will be.)

I for one would be pretty interested in a Empires of Orochi, purely becuase of how many more levels there'd be.  but I like the ideas presented in your first post.  I can't really elaborate too much more right now personally though.

If koei did make Warriors Orochi Empires, I know tons of people who'd buy it within a heart beat.

This would work very well to be honest, Having the ability to create a warrior, The tons of Territories / Fiefs that you'd be able to take over, Plus, If it had online cooperation / online versus...

This would be the ultimate koei game, That every koei fan should own.

I say YES! Koei should GO for IT...!!!

Hahaha... agreeing to what everybody says is one thing, but then adding input and other ideas is another! Appreciate the vote of confidence though! Smiley
