It'll probably come to NA but I hope it stays for PC, I mean I have a PS3 but Romance of the Three Kingdoms seems better for PC since it's a RTS game and those type of games work better on Computers. But it is KOEI's decision not mine if they want to bring it to (PS3) since past RTK games were only on Playstation, but I think it will stay on PC personally.

I'm discouraged because they treat the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series like the annoying younger brother lately and been treating their favorite child, "Dynasty Warriors" to anything its heart desires, "promotions, manpower, funding."

NA and their love for the gun, if they don't release a translated version, I'm going to be very upset

Here are some links depictin the beta online battles while explaning how is the battle system is going to work in ROTK 12.

It seems real time during battles. Each officers are allowed for one special ability for any particular battle. One thing i've realized is the 'cost' for any particular skills to be employed. Some skills required minimal cost while the better and more powerful ones required a greater deal which players needs to save up during battles. Each unit can only have 1 officers, unlike  previous games

Say for example in the first link i've provided:

Kong Rong's 'Leng Jin' (Calm) allow the officer to aid ally units when they're immobile??? It too take 1 cost point.

Wang Lang's 'Zhi Li Shang Sheng' takes about 2 points, intereestingly this skill increases the officer's intellegence breifly.

Ma Teng's 'Ju Jun Sheng Xun' (Horsemen Charge? I'm a bad translator) requires only 7 cost point. It allows the officer's unit (in this case, Ma Teng) to travel really fast throughout the battlefield and to mobilize quickly.

Cao Cao's 'Wei Wu de Jiang' raises all of the status of surrounding ally units - including himself of course (Defense, Attack, Intellegence and the Leadership, War and Intellegence status) throughout the battle). Cost point take about 7.


It seems to me that Leadership status holds a very significant role, not only for defensive level but also - general attacks and the rate of killing enemy soldiers.

The BGM is really Breathe-taking, especially the one where you're in an advantage.

You can create up to 150 officers, but somehow they only decided to create about half as many portraits for them...

The game just came out. You're unlikely to find a translation patch this early. Look around on Scholars of Shen Zhou (the forums for Kongming.net) though. There was a user who translated the main action buttons in an image, which would at least be moderately helpful.

As Yue Fei said, there is someone at SSZ who did the menues or still does them.

So does anyone know or care when an english translation of the game is going to come out?  Speculating, but, 2 programmers, 2 translators, one month.  Any dialogue can stay Japanese so long as it has english subtitles.
